……Guang Yu Xuan, one of the best restaurants in Guangzhou! I finally got to try the famous Cantonese restaurant Guang Yu Xuan, located inside the Rosewood Hotel. Reservations are recommended, as walk-ins usually only get bar seating. ……Clay pot pigeon must be ordered 20 hours in advance. I didn't get to try it, which was a shame. I ordered the braised pigeon instead, which was just okay. ……But everything else was delicious! My top recommendation is still their signature Sichuan peppercorn angel hair pasta. The noodles have a wonderful texture, very smooth and al dente, and the Sichuan peppercorn flavor is rich but not overpowering. ……The pickled cucumber is very refreshing and cuts through the richness of the other dishes. I haven't seen many people recommend it online, but you should definitely give it a try. The cucumbers are pickled perfectly. ……The abalone puff pastry is fragrant but a bit rich, which is where the pickled cucumber comes in handy. ……From the roasted meat platter, I liked the roasted pork belly the most. It practically melts in your mouth. The roasted goose and char siu were good, but not particularly amazing. The accompanying plum sauce was excellent, though! ……The conch with truffle was also delicious. The truffle's milky aroma combined with a fresh, fragrant flavor creates a surprisingly harmonious blend. ……For dessert, I ordered ginger milk curd and almond tea. The ginger milk curd uses old ginger, which is extremely spicy. If you don't like ginger, be warned🥵. The almond tea had chewy boba in it, which I've never seen before, but I thought it was delicious! ……The restaurant's ambiance is perfect for a date. The lighting is subtle and creates a romantic atmosphere. After dinner, you can take photos on the outdoor terrace. Overall, if you stick to the recommended dishes online, you can't go wrong. Tianhe District, a district under the jurisdiction of Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, is located in the eastern part of Guangzhou. It was established in 1985 by splitting from the suburbs of Guangzhou. Guangzhou is sooooo hot, so many people!!! I recommend not going during the Chinese festival. But there are many places to check in. Guangzhou is an important port city in China, so we won't get much of a Chinese atmosphere (not that Chinese). If you travel around the city, it's similar to Bangkok. Transportation is convenient, with many stations, but there are also many people. Let's just say that Guangzhou is worth visiting, but don't go during the festival. I had the pleasure of visiting the popular Canton Tower located in Guangzhou. It was one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in a while. Though my stay was quite short, my visit to Canton Tower made it worth while. The Canton is a power house filled with great sightseeing sites and some super cool rides. They offer different packages which is based on what activities you would like to see. They have several observatories, a sky drop ride ( which was undoubtedly my favorite 😍), there’s also a horoscope inspired ropeway which rotates around the edge of the tower. This attraction doesn’t require a lot of time. I went on the weekend and surprisingly the lines weren’t that long. The Canton Tower (Chinese: 广州塔), formally Guangzhou TV Astronomical and Sightseeing Tower (Chinese: 广州电视台天文及观光塔), is a 604-meter (1,982 ft)-tall multipurpose observation tower in the Haizhu District of Guangzhou (alternatively romanized as Canton). The tower was topped out in 2009 and it became operational on 29 September 2010 for the 2010 Asian Games.
