European Parliament & House of European History: Admission is free, but remember to book in advance. Although there are plenty of spots, booking will make your trip more secure. Here, you can walk into the large oval conference room often seen on TV, immersively learn about the history, organizational structure, work content, and values of the EU, and enjoy interesting interactive sessions. The deep blue spatial design is also very eye-catching. 2. Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium: The treasure of the museum is the original work of "The Death of Marat," a representative work of the French Revolution, as well as many original works by the Belgian art giant Rubens. #EuropeanChristmas Winter bar Gravensteen is a pop-up bar held in the winter every December as part of the Christmas and New Year celebrations in Ghent. This year, it will be open from December 5 to 31, 2024. The location of this winter bar is in the basement next to the stables and ticket counter of Gravensteen Castle or Castle of the Counts - a medieval fortress that is an important tourist attraction of the city. To enter the castle, you must buy an entrance ticket, but if you want to use the Winter bar only, you can enter for free. The most outstanding thing is the atmosphere because this is a real basement of an ancient castle, decorated with dim lights and decorated with Christmas trees in every corner. There is a large bar at the very back. There are many spacious seats. Sitting and eating, sipping drinks, you will also get a medieval Christmas atmosphere. It is a very impressive experience. The menu has a variety of drinks and easy-to-eat food such as cheese boards, sandwiches, burgers, pancakes...etc. Note that even though it is a bar, it has a menu that appeals to children who come as a family. Almost every menu item is available in both regular and small child-sized dishes. What I like is that adults like us asked to order Spaghetti Bolognese in a child size and the staff made it for us without any fuss. After trying it, the noodles were quite soft but the sauce was delicious. As for the drink, we ordered Homemade Ginger Citron Lemonade, which was a sweet and sour lemonade with a hint of ginger. Instead of staying home, we decided to decorate a Christmas tree and embark on an exciting journey, exploring new destinations and creating unique holiday memories.

This 13th-century castle was originally used for defensive use until the 19th century was bought by the Italian Duke as a private residence. However, the Duke died two years after his marriage, and the owner of the castle became the wife of the Duke. She stays here for three weeks a year and goes hunting in the nearby forest. Because the hostess studied history when she was at school, she was very interested in the history of the Middle Ages and collected a lot of works of art. In addition to some of the works exhibited in the castle, she donated a lot to the Louvre. In 1923, the hostess died, and because she had no children, she donated the castle to the Belgian government. Since 1924, it has been transformed into a museum, which is open to the public from April to November every year.
