Grand Sand Dune
The only place in Siam that we recommend...you must visit once when visiting Chumphon. Take a walk to feel the breeze on the wooden bridge and see the large natural sand dunes on the beach.
This sand dune is a natural phenomenon caused by the influence of storms along the coast during the monsoon season, which blows sand and piles it up until it becomes a small sand dune similar to a desert.
At the beautiful sand dune area, there is a long wooden bridge stretching across the sand dune to the beach. There is a viewpoint on the bridge for viewing the scenery and taking pictures. From the bridge, you can walk and see the view of the quiet beach in a very private way.

One of the most beautiful sand dunes in Siam
Beautiful Sand Dunes, Chumphon Province
🌴🏖️🌿 is an area of sand dunes along the coast that are the result of natural phenomena. They have been changing since the end of the Pleistocene or the end of the Ice Age.
🏝️⛱️⏳ They were created by the influence of severe storms along the coast during the monsoon season that carried a lot of sand to pile up and form small hills. When it encounters drought conditions and strong sunlight during the off-monsoon season, the atmosphere in this area looks like a desert.

Another beautiful tourist attraction in Chumphon Province, next to Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, is a beautiful sand dune and a beach that is more than 10 kilometers long between Bang Beid Beach and Tham Thong Beach. There is a bridge to view the scenery from the road to the beach. The beach is beautiful, white, fine, and natural, not manicured. Beautiful Sand Dunes: A New Landmark in Chumphon
The Beautiful Sand Dunes are a must-visit when you travel to Chumphon. Located just off the coast of Pathio District, this area is part of Chumphon's pristine coastline. Starting from Thung Wua Laen Beach, the dunes stretch to Tham Thong Beach, Bang Berd Bay, and Thung Sai Bay, connecting to Bang Saphan Noi District in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Instead of taking the main road south, try this scenic route with many interesting stops, including the Crab Bank, Koh Tieb, Koh Ran Ped Ran Kai, Laem Thaen, and the Beautiful Sand Dunes. Park your car at the entrance and walk up the bridge. A 200-meter walk will lead you to a wide viewing balcony where you can see the bridge extending over the dunes down to the beach below. Along the way, you'll see the gradient sand dunes and fine sand particles on the steps, carried by the wind. It's a unique sight. At the end of the path, you'll find a wide viewing balcony near the beach, where you can walk down to the shore. The vast blue sea and tranquil atmosphere make it a perfect spot for relaxation.
