I had a chance to visit the Golden Waterfall and Yin Yang Sea on my way to Jiu Fen. We hired a driver to bring us on a Jiu Fen day trip from Taipei. Seeing the Golden Waterfall cascade down in shimmering hues was a mesmerizing sight. The golden hue of the water was apparently caused by the presence of minerals and heavy metals. Coupling this with the reflection of the sunlight, that is how it got its distinct golden sheen. The water then flows downstream and feeds into the sea, where it then creates another phenomenon - Yin Yang Sea. The Yin Yang Sea's contrasting colors of blue and yellow was an interesting display of nature's artistry and is the result of the interaction between the mineral rich waters and seawater. #WinHKFlight #winhkflight To me, Hong Kong is a place that offers a unique mix of culture, outdoors, nightlife, food and history! I want to travel to Hong Kong to visit the Soho district, eat a bowl of wanton noodles at Mak's noodles, ride on the vintage 'Ding Dings' that ply Hong Kong island and...so much more!

It's not a very big waterfall but it's definitely quite unique and interesting. It is a place and a reminder of times past when mining was an important activity in this area. A place that you can’t ignore. A wonderful creatures that should be discovered🩵 It's not that very big but it's definitely worth a quick photo stop - being unique and interesting. In New Taipei City, the Golden Waterfall feels like stepping into a flowing painting. The waterfall cascades down from the mountain peak, and under the sunlight, the water glows with a golden hue, resembling a golden ribbon weaving through the canyon, creating a visually stunning and breathtaking sight. This place is not only a masterpiece of nature but also a mark left by time. Once a gold mining area, you can still see golden mineral sands in the water. Standing in front of the waterfall, feeling the cool mist on my face and hearing the roaring water, all my worries seem to flow away with the water. The winding path beside the waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery, and the sounds of birds and water create a melodious symphony. This golden scenery feels like a dream through time, making it impossible not to be moved, as if the past years are being relived in this golden light and shadow.

#familytrips2024 Our tour guide brought us to Golden Waterfall during our family trip in Taipei Taiwan. This waterfall was certainly different from other waterfall I have seen with its brown shades of sand behind. I supposed that's where it got it's name Golden Waterfall. In 2024, I hope to able to bring my family to visit another waterfall in another country.

Golden Watefalls is located near the Gold Ecological Park in Jinguashi. Although real gold flowing from these falls would be too good to be true, the water is certainly a beautiful gold color as a result of the combination of regular rainfall in this mining area and the abundance of heavy metal elements deposited in the riverbed.
