I specifically arranged two days for Bana Hills during my trip to Da Nang, Vietnam, and even stayed a night at the Mercure hotel on the mountain. One important reason was to avoid the crowds and take photos of the iconic Golden Bridge, which is located above an altitude of 1400 meters. It's a place that has recently become very popular online. The Golden Bridge is situated just below the summit of Bana Hills, and the view from a drone is particularly breathtaking. 📍Golden Bridge on Bana Hills 📸Photography Tips 1️⃣Best Time Slots The Golden Bridge is always crowded. To capture it without any bystanders, there are only two ideal times: early morning and late evening. Moreover, if the sunlight is good during these times, you can really capture the essence of the 'golden bridge', as its English name suggests - 6:15 The first cable car has the fewest people and the best light - 7:00 The second cable car, at this time there are not many visitors staying on the mountain - After 8:00, large numbers of tourists start to arrive, and the light also becomes stronger - Around 17:00 in the evening, many tourists have descended, and you can capture the sunset 2️⃣Choose Good Weather The bridge looks completely different on rainy days compared to sunny days The day I took these photos, it was as if Buddha's light was shining upon us, while some people online captured it looking gloomy or completely enveloped in clouds 3️⃣Top-down and Wide-angle Shots These two angles are the best for capturing the Golden Bridge The former requires a drone for the most shocking effect The latter can be done with the wide-angle mode on a smartphone 4️⃣Attire If you want to take portraits, it's recommended to wear slightly brighter colors, and dresses are preferred 🌿Surroundings 🔸After visiting the Golden Bridge, don't rush to take the cable car back; you can continue walking forward to the rose garden and the big Buddha, where you can stroll and take photos at leisure 🔸You can visit the French Village by taking the cable car back to the top of the mountain 🚠Transport 🔸You must take a twenty-minute cable car ride (the world's longest cable car) to the top of the mountain, then transfer to another cable car to reach the Golden Bridge on the next level 🔸To go up the mountain, you need to purchase a cable car ticket, which also serves as the entrance ticket. Want to take pictures at the Hand Bridge with few people or no people at all? It's very easy. You have to sleep on the top of Bana Hill because there will be a special cable car for those staying up there. The first round starts at 6:00 AM and will take people up the cable car for only 5 minutes. Then the cable car will open again at 6:30 AM or every half hour. Take pictures in a chill way. . And if you walk further, everyone will find a garden decorated in a magnificent way. There are many flowers and trees. Take beautiful pictures. Plus, the weather is not very hot. There are many souvenir shops and food shops to choose from. It's worth waking up early. ▪️Advice: For general people who do not stay up there, the first round will be at 8:00 AM. Accommodation ▪️Mercure Danang French Village Ba Na Hill, the only accommodation here. There are many types to choose from, both single rooms, double beds, or family rooms. We stayed in a family of 4 beds, bunk beds, with 1 bathroom and 1 shower room, which was quite okay. It was bigger than I thought. There was a heater. The price we stayed at included breakfast. And 2 cable car tickets (we bought 2 more at a special price for those staying here). When you arrive at the cable car station, they will check you in before going up. There is a room deposit of 1,000,000 VND that will be returned when you check out. If you arrive before the check-in time, you can leave your bags at the hotel reception. Food▪️ Beer Plaza Dinner buffet with a variety of food to choose from, including Vietnamese, international, savory, sweet, and full drinks. And there are 2 coupons per person for exchanging drinks (1 pint of beer = 1 coupon / 1 glass of other drinks = 2 coupons) ▪️ Other food We recommend mango ice cream. If anyone likes ripe mango, they will definitely like this. Another thing we would like to recommend is fruit juice. We are not sure what it is called. But there is a mixed juice next to the burger shop with fruit pulp. We like it very much. It was completed in June 2018, and it resembles two, gigantic hands holding up a shiny piece of gold to the gods above the misty clouds of Vietnam. Visitors from Vietnam and tourists from all over flock to this bridge here as it is the most prominent feature representing Danang. 🇻🇳Our Danang Diaries🇻🇳 We have reached our final stop at Bana Hills~got off at the Marseille Cable Car station and they have another souvenir shop here where you can buy some cute stuffed toys. So here we are at the Golden Bridge (or the Cau Vang). The most famous spot here in Ba Na Hill, and an absolute wondrous sight indeed! This is also the most crowded place in the park😂 There are flags at the entrance so you can take your country’s flag and take photos with it on the bridge. Just a walk out from the Marseille station and you will not missed this iconic golden bridge. Although it may be crowded almost at all time, but still able to catch the time when the tour group left and you could easy find a spot with less people in the background. The iconic Golden Bridge in Da Nang, Vietnam is definitely a sight to see! It's located in the Ba Na Hills theme park where you can go for a nice stroll and have lunch. There is a nice cable car ride which is about 25 minutes up to the sight. Best to go on a nice sunny day for the view! The ticket price was around $35 which includes a round trip cable car and admission to Ba Na Hills and Fantasy Park.

Golden Bridge is another tourism icon in Da Nang, besides the Dragon Bridge in the city centre. The Golden Bridge is located on Ba Na Hills. On the day we visited, the weather was not good. It was raining the whole day and it was very wet and cold. The visibility is almost zero. The good thing was there were fewer tourists. #fallingforfall Not a typical morning I expected when going to Ba Na Hills on first week of October. Though, I already expected that this season is not the best time to visit because of misty atmosphere. But still, it turns out to a magical one on taking photos against the clouds going around us. From the cable car we rode going up to this mountain that is 1,487 meters above sea level and reaching this spectacular Golden Bridge, it leaves me in awe to the first time I stepped in into the bridge and walked around it. Misty, foggy, cloudy, whatever it is, this turned out to one of a kind experience I would treasure for the rest of my life.

One of my most incredible experiences at the Golden Bridge In Da Nang, Vietnam. Located at the Ba Na hills Resort only 20 minutes away from center city. A bit pricey, but the view is worth every penny! The Skyrail takes you above the clouds! The maintenance of the flowers at this altitude was the most impressive part nonetheless. Both hands were made pretty inexpensively with wire mesh and fiberglass in only 1 year apparently in 2017.
