You can visit both. - ✅Housha Square (Pic 4) The glass bridge extends over the sea. I think that the Golden Sandy Beach is the nicest beach in Yantai! It is located in Yantai Development Zone. Several parks, restaurants, bars, cafes and fountains along the entire length of the beach. It is always very clean and well-groomed. The send is literally golden 😍 The building of Yantai Development Zone City Display Center is a very interesting one. It was one of my favorite places to go and relax in the evening when I was in Yantai. Before departure, I made a travel guide, how should I choose between Yantai and Weihai? The answer is of course that I must have both! Yantai and Weihai are not far away. Along the way, there is a long coastal highway with beautiful mountains and sea. I have to say that the sea at the tip of the wing on this map is really transparent and blue [Heart][Heart] Although the short 3+1 Dragon Boat Festival holiday for migrant workers cannot fully experience the city, it is still long enough for them to drive through the best of Yantai and Weihai. We chose to drive to Yantai. By the time we arrived, it was already evening, so we found a nearby restaurant and had a casual meal (not sure if it was because our hotel was in a remote area or if Yantai's nightlife isn't very vibrant, but many restaurants were already closed by 10 PM). First Day Itinerary: Yantai Mountain, Jinsha Bay Seaside Park, Tidal Flat, Fisherman's Wharf After breakfast, we headed to Yantai Mountain, still driving ourselves. The scenic area has a parking lot, which is very convenient, and the parking lot is also close to the entrance of the scenic area. No tickets are required for the scenic area, but climbing the tower costs 10 RMB per person. The scenic area is not tiring to explore and takes about 2-3 hours (depending on personal stamina). After descending the mountain, there is a pedestrian street opposite where you can eat and drink, and there are many seafood restaurants. We had lunch there, and during meal times, you need to wait for a table. The menu is mostly seafood. In the afternoon, we went to Jinsha Bay Seaside Park. If you drive, the coastal road is very beautiful (and this coastal road is quite long). There is a parking lot near Jinsha Bay Seaside Park, making parking very convenient. You can see the sea, take photos, and check in here. If you have children, you can also play with them here. After playing here until the evening, you can go tidal flat fishing, but you need to check the tide table. We did tidal flat fishing there, and if you don't have the necessary equipment, you can buy it on-site (prices are reasonable, and you can bargain a bit). After tidal flat fishing, we headed to Fisherman's Wharf. There is a parking lot, which is very convenient. We also had dinner there, and the menu is mainly seafood (a bit pricey since it's by the sea). The night view here is beautiful, and there are some street performers, creating a great atmosphere. Second Day Itinerary: Yangma Island After breakfast, we drove to Yangma Island. This island is also very suitable for self-driving. It's quite large, and wherever there is parking, there are places selling food and drinks. The scenery is very beautiful, with several parking spots where you can stop to take photos and enjoy the scenery. A self-driving tour of Yangma Island takes about 3-4 hours (depending on the individual). This is our two-day (or more accurately, one and a half days) itinerary. We didn't do anything fancy and visited all the places we wanted to go. We didn't go to Penglai because we had been there before, so we didn't include it in our plan. Why did we only spend one and a half days driving? Because we headed to Weihai in the afternoon of the second day! We set off the next day because we were afraid that there would be too many people during the Dragon Boat Festival. The girl in our group said that she had booked a hotel in Yantai, so we went to Yantai first. We never expected that this was the best decision we had ever made. We saw people making dumplings on the beach in Weihai, and Yantai had few people and beautiful scenery. We were so lucky! On the first day I arrived in Yantai, I stayed near the Golden Beach Hotel and ate at Fish Mancang. The environment there was great.
