[Nagasaki Prefecture/Omura City] A sandy beach made of glass!? The first place you should visit when you go to Nagasaki
Nagasaki Prefecture 🫧 Omura City
✔︎Glass Sand Beach
As soon as you cross the bridge from the airport, you will find the Glass Sand Beach on your right, near Morizono Park.
In 2016, Nagasaki Prefecture created a shallow area using recycled glass sand to improve the water quality of Omura Bay.
The beach is made of colorful glass sand, and it sparkles in the sunlight. 🥹
It reminded me of how much I loved collecting beautiful glass and stones as a child. 😂
You should definitely try taking a photo of yourself making a heart with your hands. 👍
You can also take cute photos using small items such as photo frames and empty bottles. 🫙📸
When I went, it was a hot day like midsummer, and there was no shade, so I couldn't stay there for long, but it would be fun to collect glass of the same color and write patterns or letters on it. 🖼️
The corners of the glass are rounded, but for safety, please do not walk barefoot. 🥺!
Be careful because the parking lot is a little confusing⚠️
I parked in a private paid parking lot nearby, but
it seems there is also a parking lot at Morizono Park🅿️
