[2025 Shanghai Stay] Travel Guide for Ginco Hotel (Updated Feb)

The hotel was lovely and right in the heart of downtown. There is so much to do there, so many restaurants and La social is just around the corner. Very convenient and most places easily accessible. Really loved the interior,it’s as if you are not in the heat and buzz of it all ,the minute you enter the hotel it’s very serene and down to earth environment with very lovely staff. Nico is one of the staff contact at the hotel,he was very helpful in helping me settle and getting some additional documents after my stay. I also loved their breakfast,it was super filling and the breakfast snoothie thing was yummy. It was also very sweet of them to give me a little gift of tea when I left. Overall it was a pleasant stay.Totally recommend.

I booked this hotel on Trip.com for my one-day trip to Shanghai. Perhaps due to the off-season, the price was quite reasonable, even though it's rated as five-diamond on Trip.com. Without much hesitation, I chose this hotel to give it a try. 🌟Highlights: After getting out of the car, I saw a very small hotel "entrance," and for a moment, I was a bit taken aback. Upon entering, I was greeted by a fragrant aroma and a uniquely designed lobby. It instantly filled me with anticipation. The hotel's front desk staff were incredibly friendly. The check-in process was smooth, and they even offered me a free room upgrade. The room was square and well-designed, maximizing space utilization. Although the overall area wasn't huge, the open layout and compact bathroom and vanity area made the room feel spacious and bright. While the windows weren't large, the sliding doors cleverly concealed this minor flaw. The room was full of thoughtful details and had a strong sense of design. The level of smart technology was impressive, and the bed was extremely comfortable. All the hotel amenities were eco-friendly. ❤Recommendation: Overall, this hotel provided plenty of pleasant surprises and offered excellent value for money. It's perfect for leisure travelers. Even for business travelers who don't require banquet facilities, it's a great choice. After a long day of work, returning to the hotel's subtle fragrance and comfortable environment can help you unwind and relax completely.

Located on the quiet Jiaozhou Road, hidden among the swaying trees, Shanghai Jing'an Vinge Hotel has a Zen charm that is hidden in the city. It's hard to imagine that such a hotel is located in the center of the bustling Jing'an District business district. The hotel has only 64 rooms, it is a small boutique hotel with a Japanese style. From the space configuration to the decorative accessories, it all has a low-key and simple high-end feeling. This time I booked the Wu Jue Pavilion, the front desk upgraded the room type for free, and stayed in the Wu Chen Pavilion~ The room area of the Wu Chen Pavilion is larger, the hotel bed is very comfortable, the Gin&Co Bar on the first floor of the hotel provides breakfast, lunch and dinner, with Chinese, Japanese, and Western style meal choices. The luxury of this hotel is amazing, every detail shows unparalleled luxury whether it is the hotel's luxurious conference hall or banquet hall, it can meet the needs of various high-end occasions.
