The Secret Heaven in UK: Giant's Causeway
It was one of the most amazing parts of my North Ireland trip.🧳🇬🇧 When I was in Belfast, we decided to join a tour to see the northern part of the country as well.🗺️📍 One of the stop of this trip was Giant's Causeway. 👺🗾I am not surprised that here is the Northern Ireland's only UNESCO World Heritage Site. 🌏According to legend, the columns are the remains of a causeway built by a giant. You should read the details on internet.📖 If you decide to go, do not forget to take your jacket, hat, scarf and gloves with you.👲🏼🧣🧤🧥It was so freezing and windy.❄️🌬️🍃 But it's worth to go for having amazing photos. 🤳📸

The Giant's Causeway 🪨
#traveldiaries
The Giant's Causeway is an area of approximately 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, the result of an ancient volcanic fissure eruption. It is located in County Antrim on the north coast of Northern Ireland, about three miles (4.8 km) northeast of the town of Bushmills.
It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 and a national nature reserve by the Department of the Environment for Northern Ireland in 1987.
The tops of the columns form stepping stones that lead from the cliff foot and disappear under the sea. Most of the columns are hexagonal, although some have four, five, seven, or eight sides. The tallest are approximately 12 metres (39 ft) high, and the solidified lava in the cliffs is 28 metres (92 ft) thick in places.

The cool beauty of Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Belfast City Hall was founded in 1888 and has been the capital of Northern Ireland since 1922. This city is quiet and introverted in my eyes, and it is even more lonely during the New Year. Countless tourists come here to follow the poignant love story of Jack and Rose, visit the dock where the "Titanic" went to sea in the past, and the Titanic Museum. The Titanic Memorial Museum is located on the former site of the Harland and Wolff shipyard in the Titanic area. The building area is over 12,000 square meters. Since its opening in 2012, the museum has won about 15 awards. It has not only improved the tourism industry in Northern Ireland, but also welcomed famous visitors such as Queen Elizabeth II and Dr. Robert Ballard, who discovered the wreckage of the Titanic. There is a thought-provoking sentence on the sign at the entrance of a multimedia demonstration hall: "ENGLAND IS IRLAND’S ENEMY"! Explore the location of "Game of Thrones", "Dark Hedge", which is known as one of the most beautiful tree tunnels in the world. The beech trees on both sides grow in a staggered manner, creating a dreamlike scene. Giant's Road Standing on the Giant's Causeway to trace the legendary footprints of giants, about 40,000 hexagonal stone pillars formed by the cooling of volcanic lava 50,000 years ago, forming a stepped and orderly extension into the sea to form an 8-kilometer magical coast. The Nook is located at the entrance of the Giant's Causeway World Heritage Site. There is a "The Nook" with a unique style. It is a protected building originally built as a school in the 1950s. It was converted into a restaurant after being restored on the basis of retaining the characteristics of the Victorian era. It provides various teas and snacks. The ingredients not only ensure the real "Ulster flavor", but also provide European-style tavern dishes and specialty coffee. The restaurant has an open charcoal fireplace in winter and an outdoor terrace overlooking the coast in summer. It is especially worth a drink and rest. But what surprised me and remembered more was the short stay on the way, White Park Bay, the beautiful golden beach in North Antrim, and the ruins of Dunluce Castle built by the McQuillan family in 1513 on the edge of the coastal cliff (occupied by the McDonnell family in 1550). Dunluce Castle It silently witnessed the long and turbulent history here...

Giant's Causeway: Step into the Mythical 'Stone Maze'
Ireland's Giant's Causeway is a mysterious and spectacular natural wonder, as if stepping into a mythical stone maze. The hexagonal basalt columns here were formed by ancient volcanic activity, resembling the footprints left by giants, which is truly astonishing.
Strolling along this unique coastline, the waves crash against the rocks, creating a roaring sound that seems to tell ancient legends. This place is not only a paradise for photographers but also a creative haven for those seeking inspiration.
When you visit the Giant's Causeway, don't forget to bring your imagination, always ready to embark on a magical journey with the giants!

The Natural Beauty of the Giant's Causeway

The Giant's Causeway, located on the rugged coast of Northern Ireland, is a natural wonder that leaves visitors in awe of its unique beauty. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is renowned for its striking landscape, where over 40,000 interlocking basalt columns stretch out into the sea. These hexagonal stones, formed by volcanic activity around 60 million years ago, create a surreal and almost otherworldly environment.
As you explore the site, the contrast between the dark basalt columns and the surrounding lush greenery and azure waters is breathtaking. The Causeway is steeped in legend, with tales of the giant Finn McCool adding a mythical allure to the site. Whether you’re walking along the coastal trails, listening to the crashing waves, or simply marveling at the natural architecture, the Giant's Causeway offers an unforgettable experience. It’s a place where nature’s raw power and beauty come together in a truly spectacular way.

Giant Causeway
Visiting the Giant's Causeway was an unforgettable adventure, blending natural wonder with ancient myth. The drive along the Causeway Coastal Route was breathtaking, with rugged cliffs and sweeping ocean views guiding my way to this UNESCO World Heritage Site in County Antrim, Northern Ireland.
Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the surreal landscape. Thousands of interlocking basalt columns, formed by volcanic activity over 60 million years ago, stretched out towards the sea. The perfectly geometric shapes seemed almost otherworldly, as if they were meticulously crafted by hand.
Walking along the causeway, I felt a connection to the ancient legends of the giant Finn McCool, who is said to have built the causeway as a bridge to Scotland. The stories added a layer of magic to the already enchanting scenery. Climbing the columns and exploring the tide pools, I marveled at the variety of shapes and sizes, each one telling a part of the geological history.
The visitor center offered insightful exhibits about the site's formation, biodiversity, and folklore. It was fascinating to learn about the scientific explanations alongside the rich tapestry of local legends.
As I ventured further, the views became even more spectacular. The cliffs towering above and the waves crashing against the rocks created a dramatic and awe-inspiring setting. I took a moment to sit and absorb the natural beauty, feeling a profound sense of tranquility and wonder.
Leaving the Giant's Causeway, I carried with me not just the memories of its stunning beauty but also a deeper appreciation for the power of nature and the enduring allure of ancient myths. This visit was a highlight of my travels, offering a unique blend of natural splendor and cultural richness.

Giant’s Causeway
Beautiful scenery to see on the way to the actual ‘Giant’s Causeway’. There was a mythology saying the Giant’s Causeway was built by an Irish Giant. While the rock layers were impressive indeed, what attracted me most was the view on my way to the piles of stones. With the horizon blurred by fog, a thin bridge connecting to an isolated island in the middle of the cerulean sea adds a touch of ethereal beauty and mythical charm.

The giant’s causeway in September… such beautiful blue skies and fantastic scenery! We only did a whistle stop tour sadly but I could honestly have stayed all day.

🍃 Natural Trip ~ Belfast 🇬🇧
Aside from shopping and food hunt, I do like to visit our “Mother Nature” too!! We have decided to visit Belfast during the weekend. I would say 3D2N is good enough. The two spots that I would recommend you to visit are listed down below🙌🙌
I would recommend you to follow a One-day tour as it is very easy and you get to access to all the amazing places. The price is definitely affordable and you can choose the time that suits you. As for myself, we departed at 7am ☀️ and get back to the city before evening. The tour guide was very kind and funny, he was explaining all the history and story along the way 👍

Day trip from Belfast - Giant's Causeway
The first thing we will find as soon as we arrive at the car park is the Giant's Causeway Visitor Experience. It is a modern interpretation center that also houses an information booth, a very expensive souvenir shop, public toilets and a cafeteria.
On the giant screen in the center, they continuously play a short film with explanations about the geological formation of the place. The price to access also includes an audio guide in different languages to visit the cliffs and the car park.
In some places, you will read that the visit to the Giant's Causeway can be done in an hour, and even in much less time. No kidding! We spent at least three hours walking along the paths that surround the cliffs.
To get to the main cliff where we will see the hexagonal basalt columns, you have to walk downhill for 15 minutes from the interpretation center. If once here you limit yourself to taking a few photos as we saw that the vast majority did, in 45 minutes you will have been able to finish the visit. #ireland

Amazing
Giant's Causeway
In Northern Ireland, you can't miss the Giant's Road, walk to the beach, meet the sunset, see the waves beat the boulders, listen to the sound, all this All the pictures are like a picture, but not static.
# Aspire to life, perhaps this seems to be calm, but in life experience a variety of extraordinary days.

FISHFISH.
Most of the world's scenery is floating clouds, and it will soon die in memory. The Giant's Causeway is definitely a very small number. It is impossible to imagine before seeing it. The 40,000 rules on the Atlantic coast are like the polygonal stone pillars processed by lathes. They are integrated into a super-kilometre long stretchway. Realistic wonders.
Walk from the entrance to the embankment, listening to the legendary sounds in the audio guide, and soon walked to the corner of the edge of the Antrim Plain - the "giant road" that has been passed in front of it. Forty thousand basalt columns of rock, like the blocks piled up by the giants, stretched for several kilometers until they disappeared into the sea.
The stone column under my feet is flat and cut like a knife, showing a perfectly symmetrical hexagon, just to accommodate the next big 43 feet. Step on the stone pillars and walk to the beach, and watch carefully, you will find that in addition to the majority of the hexagons, there are also four sides, five sides and octagons. The high stone pillars are three or four stories high, but the part buried under the ground can be imagined to be even more amazing.
When I used a telephoto lens to shoot a group of stone pillars in the distance, I found that the picture in the frame was like a small country. People are so small in the face of natural power, and it is no wonder that the interpretation of "from the power of the giant" can be passed down for so many years. Climb along the trails left by the shepherds to the steep cliffs, where the embankment is like two completely different worlds the winding coastline, the magical pillars and the vast Atlantic Ocean.
Dominic.
The stunning Giant's Road coast, located on the northern shore of the island of Ireland, consists of more than 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns extending into the sea, forming a 1,000-kilometre causeway, which UNESCO listed as a World Heritage Site in 1986. . The legend is made up of giants. It looks like a modern cement pillar. It is a result of volcanic activity 60 million years ago. People use their hands and feet to climb on the road of giants, or sit or stand or lie, posing a variety of different POSE photos.
