The Real Footprint of Dinosaur 🦕🐾 Live Fossil at Gantheaume Point🇦🇺
#travellerswonderland
Gantheaume Point encompasses a stretch of white sandy beach as well as a red rock cliff face overlooking the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.
Despite various activities like kayak tours, the most interesting part is definitely the REAL Dinosaur footprints in the rock! 🐾🐾🦖 Over 130 million years old’s fossil footprints are preserved in reef rock and can be seen at very low tide at the bottom of the cliff. (Make sure you check the tide before going!)

The Most Unique Coastal Time Capsule Lookout in Broome
Broome is a new must-go destination for nature lovers in Western Australia! If you’re into Dinosaurs, you’ll find their footprints naturally fossilised in rocks and left behind over millions of years at Gantheaume Point. The natural scarlet-red rock formations combined with the turquoise water from the Indian Ocean will set you back to the Cretaceous period where ancient dinosaurs roamed the land in Broome. It is surely one of the most unique lookouts in the whole of Broome. Head there in the late afternoon to catch the stunning sunset. It is definitely a must-see travel destination when visiting Broome. Be sure to add it to your bucket list the next time you plan to travel to Australia.

Gantheaume Point
#australiatrip You need to visit this spot at least twice to appreciate and soak in the beauty of this place with contrasting colours of rocks, sea, sky and sunlight playing into the mix. Once at midday and next at sunset. Feel free to spend as much time to use your imagination and capture some of the best pictures Western Australia has to offer at Gantheaume Point. Certainly not a safe place for uncontrolled young children and pets. Picnic tables and site information provided but the condition of Rest Rooms leaves a lot to be desired. Suggest using Rest Rooms at your place of stay or at an appropriate facility immediately before driving to this spot, especially going in a group or with your family.
