For my first skiing experience, I chose to go to GALA Yuzawa Ski Resort in Niigata. When we arrived, there were so many people! We hired a coach to teach us how to ski, so remember to rent your equipment and book a ski lesson when you get there. Don't worry, there are Chinese-speaking coaches available. At first, they will teach you how to fall and get up on flat ground. Falling repeatedly can be quite painful. Once you master the basics, they will take you to a small slope to practice. After that, you'll take the lift up the mountain to ski down a bigger slope. It was pretty scary, but I managed to complete it successfully. First skiing achievement unlocked! #japantrip This snow/ski resort, is accessible for everyone even you are not doing ski. The ticket price for gondola, not too pricey. But, if you only want to play snow, maybe this is not for you. In fact, you can play snow outside the door near the rental area, with barely no one there. (No need to ride the gondola). There were too many people, and it can be dangerous if you are not aware of the ski-people. Even the parking space was full, and we need to find ourselves a parking spot, 15 minutes walking from the entrance. But still, there are many things to do other than skiing that you can choose. We were so lucky to have a snowfalls! But still, it was a good experience for all of us, especially me, who loves Japan the most.

I would like to say that this Tokyo trip was more impressive than any other because I got to go to Gala Yuzawa, where I could tour the city, go to Fuji, and go skiing. I felt that this trip was really worth it. I was very impressed. If you go to Tokyo, I recommend going to Gala Yuzawa. For transportation, we used the JR Tokyo Wide Pass, which allows us to ride the Shinkansen and JR unlimitedly for 3 days to travel around Tokyo. It was very worthwhile.
