On this trip, traveling from Hanoi to Sapa 🚌 Let's start with a sleeper bus. After getting off the plane at Noi Bai Airport, the bus that we booked will pick us up at the airport at 23.00 at the agreed location. The bus we took this time was from Sapa Group Bus, a 2-story sleeper bus. Inside the bus, there are many sleeper cabins. The sleeper cabins are quite spacious and comfortable (2 people can sleep in one cabin). Inside, there is a small TV for watching movies and listening to music. The sleeping seat can be adjusted. During the trip, the bus will stop for you to use the bathroom twice (if you need to use the bathroom, bring money because some places charge). The bus takes about 5-6 hours to travel before reaching the destination at 5 am. . The train has many themes to choose from according to your preference. The atmosphere inside the train is vintage. On this trip, we chose to sleep 4 people in one cabin. Small room, just right for sleeping There are power outlets in the room, snacks, fruits and water provided. The lower bunk has a power outlet at the head of the bed, while the upper bunk does not (leave it to the person on the lower bunk to charge). The train takes about 7-8 hours. (Disadvantages of traveling by train: The train is quite noisy and shaky. Lao Cai train station was built between 1903 and 1936, it is the gateway to Sapa, if you are travelling by train from Hanoi. Buses just outside the train station, it costs 40 000 VND, the buses sometimes also carry goods from Lao Cai to Sapa, the bus terminates at the stop near the Sapa stone church. If you intend to stay in the city, there are hotels around the train station. You can walk along the river to the China border and take a look, or visit their market Cho Du Lich Lao Cai. There are a number of restaurants and cafes along the way to the China border.
