The provided room was extremely spacious and well-kept, with a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Stayed at G hotel Gurney Penang recently and had breakfast at their cafe 168. The servicing staffs were attentive and friendly. The cafe decoration and use of lighting is clever and give you the cosy feeling. There were also good selection of both local and international breakfast spread. At one side of the cafe, it was overlooking the swimming pools area and the other side, it was overlooking strait of Malacca. Good choice to stay at this property and be sure if you would go for the breakfast too.

Stayed at G Hotel Gurney Penang Malaysia. This hotel is located in Gurney Drive where there are a lot of good street food located. The lobby is located at level 3. The service staff is attentive and friendly. The lobby area is nicely designed with also good decoration. You will feel relaxed as you walked into the lobby area with background music playing and certain scents they use. This is definitely the hotel to select when you are in Penang.

Was in Penang for a trade show and stayed at G hotel Gurney. Got a deluxe room and it was super large. It has a large open area between bed and TV which has sufficient space to place a table tennis table! The room has modern design. There are complimentary coffee/tea and also some snacks and soft drinks being restock every day. The sofas are very comfortable and good to relax before sleeping in the night. The wash room area is also huge with a bath tub and separate shower and toilet area. Highly recommended if you are planning to visit Penang and this is a good property to stay.

There aren't many guests on a weekday so you certainly get the whole place to yourself! 🏋️‍♂️ The gym equipment is pretty new, perfect for those who want a good workout. We paid RM530/night for two, inclusive of daily breakfast at Cafe 168. There is a free mini bar in every room that can be refilled daily. Free shuttle service is also provided to G Hotel Kelawai. Gurney Drive hawker center is only 2 to 3 minutes walk, Georgetown is only 5.5 kilometers around 10 minutes drive. The check in process at level 3 was a breeze, with welcome ice cream, level 3 is also the site of the open-air pool deck, gym with modern equipment, spa and a number of restaurants and lounges. All guest rooms are decorated and furnished in a stylish modern feel with a complimentary minibar. Kettle with bottled water, instant coffee, tea and milo sachets are available as well.

G Hotel is one of the affordable places in Penang that offers breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner buffet & have been here for many times can assure everyone that it’s worth coming here for good food with reasonable prices.

#wheretogo Penang is always a good place for a weekend getaway. You get a good balance of nature and city, plus the food is always good! At the busy area or Gurney, G Hotel Gurney is a good choice for staycation. The hotel room is big and the service is good. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted warmly and attended to quickly. Ice creams are served at the reception too! We booked the L-suite and boy it was big. The room has a mini kitchen equipped with a full size fridge, capsule coffee machine and fairly large counter top for meal prep maybe? Living area is quite spacious too! Downside was TV not being a smart TV and limited channels are available. At the sleeping area, you’ll find a king sized bed which was really comfortable. Bathroom was huge as well! Had a chance to stay at G hotel Gurney Penang Malaysia for a couple of days for business. Their pool area is nicely landscaped and provided a good place to chilled and relax. The maximum depth is 1.2m so relatively easy for all ages. There are some big floats around for kids and adults to have some fun. The use of planted trees around the edge of pool really give the place a boost for greenary. Highly recommended to stay at this property.
