Initially, I thought it was just an ordinary stone bridge, but it turns out to be one of the three ancient bridges in Yangshuo, built during the Ming Dynasty over 500 years ago. Truly impressive! 👍 Standing on another bridge, you can see the semi-circular reflection of the entire Fuli Bridge; standing on the bridge itself offers a different view. Looking into the distance, you can see layers upon layers of mountains ⛰️. Getting There - A well maintained cycle path is available which leads to Fuli Bridge. Approximately 13km from the main West Street. A steady climb on the way there, but a nice downhill cycle on the way back. Attractions - The journey to Fuli Bridge is pleasant, the destination is a tourist trap which I would avoid. A once beautiful part of Yangshuo, it is now a small and busy bridge complete with people singing KTV on large speakers they have attached to the bridge. Lots of rafts available for a cruise, but with so many that it didn’t seem relaxing at all. Food & Restaurants - A couple of very basic restaurants surrounded by your usual stands selling water, ice cream and chocolate. Shopping - You have to pay to park and pay to use a raft. It’s a shame you couldn’t pay to turn down the KTV. You can get some beautiful pictures at Fuli Bridge, but there are much better places around to do this without the hassle of a tourist trap. #summervacation#hikingtrails#urbanexplorer

I read a lot about avoiding Yangshuo, and it is indeed a very commercialized tourist spot. I didn't choose the ferry or bamboo rafting. The best spots on the ferry are official and require a 4-hour ride, and bamboo rafting would mess up my hair and makeup, haha. My parents didn't want to bother either, so I directly parked at the Old County Wharf (no parking fee), rented two electric scooters, each costing 30. We rode all the way to Fuli Bridge, stopping to take pictures at beautiful spots along the way. It was so photogenic! Fuli Bridge is a must-visit! Many shots are taken on the bridge, but the view from under the bridge looking up is even more stunning. The ancient charm of Fuli Bridge is overwhelming. After visiting Fuli Bridge, we rode back to the Old County to return the scooters (we were tired), then drove to the free swing spot. Navigate to Huatianghai Yulong Legend Hotel, go down the road opposite, and we happened to catch the sunset, feeling like we were in a landscape painting. After enjoying the view, we went straight back to Guilin for dinner—resolutely not spending money in Yangshuo, haha!
