It is said that Mount Fuji rewards early risers. Compared to Lake Kawaguchiko, I prefer Lake Yamanaka. Although there was no "reverse Fuji," I was already very satisfied. There was sunrise, swans, and Mount Fuji. 🚗6:30 Hirano Lakeside (Hirano no Hama) Took a taxi to Hirano no Hama. There were swans, sunrise, and Mount Fuji. 🚴10:00 Shiratori-hama After 7:00, there's a bus. Took the bus back to the hotel and rented a bicycle with electric assist. It wasn't tiring. Cycling around the lake took 2 hours. Gave up on "the park" as it opens at 11:00 and there were already many people waiting for viewing spots at 10:00. But actually, just a little bit past "the park," the scenery was also amazing. There's no need to wait specifically. After cycling around the lake, had brunch at Denny's. In the afternoon, took a bus to Lake Kawaguchiko. A perfect day. ❗️Tips The lake bus only starts running at 7:00. To see the sunrise early, you need to take a taxi or stay near Hirano. There are swans in many places, especially at Shiratori-hama, and also at Hirano. Bicycle rentals are available from 9:00 for JPY 2,000 for two hours. Rented from an elderly gentleman near Shiratori-hama. Two hours is enough to cycle around the lake and take photos. You can choose a hotel in Hirano or near a bus stop, which is very convenient.

Even though I can't see it from the window of the room, but when I come out of the accommodation, Fuji is so beautiful that I can shout. Even more, the rooftop here is the best. Oh my, you can see Fuji in full view. It's so refreshing. I screamed. 555 You can see both Fuji and the amusement park. The surrounding area is beautiful in 360°. Plus, when you go up in the morning, there are no people, so it's easy to take pictures. Choose a room for 3 people, it will be a bunk bed and 1 single bed (as shown in the picture). It is not very wide as per Japanese style, but I saw on the website that there is a room that is quite wide. Too bad I did not book in time. Here, you can check in - check out by yourself. When you book, the accommodation will send an email to inform you of the room code and recommend the points and facilities in the accommodation, such as shared bathroom, shared bathroom, kitchen, living room. We departed from Tokyo and drove for 2 hours to Lake Kawaguchi and Lake Yamanaka. We stopped by Yoshida City on the way. We booked a 6-seater car, but because we told them we didn't have much luggage, the charter company arranged a small 7-seater car. The space inside the car was very cramped and it was not very comfortable to sit in. Fortunately, the driver was very good at leading the way and very efficient in taking us to some of the most popular places for tourists, so the trip was completed smoothly.
