Outdoor Private Onsen, Ginsho Hotel with High CP Value
This time, I want to introduce the Hana no Onsen Hotel Ginsho located in Ibusuki, Kagoshima.
The name Ginsho sounds quite elegant in writing.
However, when I recommended it to my friends and said in Cantonese, 'I'm staying at Ginsho Hotel this time,' they couldn't help but giggle. 🤭
After checking in at the hotel, you can enjoy a welcome drink and snacks at the reception restaurant.
The green tea is freshly brewed by the staff using Japanese tea ceremony techniques, and it tastes great!
As the name suggests, once you step onto the room floor, the scent of pine wood fills the air, which is very unique.
What surprised me was the high CP value of the 2000 HKD per night stay with two meals.
First, the room is super large, exquisitely decorated, new, and clean.
It has a leisure terrace and an outdoor private onsen.
The entire room offers an unbeatable sea view, and the scenery is top-notch.
Listening to the sound of the waves, you can leave behind the busy pace of Hong Kong, clear your mind, and relax in your private onsen without worrying about others' gazes. It's truly chill.
You can soak in the onsen anytime you want, 24 hours a day. It's very convenient to have an outdoor onsen in your room, and you can shower and sleep in your own room before and after soaking.
After checking in, if it's not yet time for dinner, what can you do?
Another selling point of this hotel is its proximity to the famous sand bath attraction.
It's less than a 5-minute walk away, and you can enjoy the famous sand bath just by taking your room key.
Since Kagoshima is full of geothermal activity, the sand under the beach is warm.
The staff will instruct you to lie down, and then they will use shovels to cover you with the black coarse sand from the beach, burying you in the sand.
After lying down for 15 minutes, you will sweat profusely from the hot sand, which feels very refreshing.
It is said to expel toxins from your body and is very beneficial to your health.
It's a must-try activity when visiting Ibusuki.
At dinner time, there are staff members who speak fluent English to serve you.
The food is very local and features Kagoshima specialties. 👍👍
After dinner, the staff highly recommended us to participate in the activities they prepared.
With the map they provided, you can go to designated spots in the hotel to check in, and finally return to the front desk to receive a souvenir.
You can see that they put a lot of effort into enhancing your stay experience.
While looking for the check-in spots, you will come across the game room and find many things to play with.
Overall, I am very satisfied with this stay.
Transportation Guide -
1. There is a bus from Kagoshima Airport directly to Ibusuki, which takes about an hour and a half.
2. There is a special train from Kagoshima Central Station, the Tamatebako, to Ibusuki, but you need to book in advance as it is very popular. When I arrived and wanted to buy a ticket for the next day, it was already sold out.
