Located within the bustling city, this ancient structure offers a glimpse into Zhengzhou’s rich history. Starting the Day My day began in Erqi District, where I currently live. Around 9:00 AM, I decided to take the local bus, opting for the Route 37 from a nearby stop. The bus system in Zhengzhou is quite efficient and affordable. After boarding, I sat by the window, enjoying the view as the city slowly awakened with life. The journey to Fu Tower from Erqi District took about 30 minutes. The roads were relatively clear, and I admired the blend of modern and traditional architecture as the bus made its way through different neighborhoods. Arrival at Fu Tower By 9:30 AM, I reached the Fu Tower, located within a picturesque park. The entrance itself is a gateway to another era, with the majestic tower standing tall, surrounded by well-maintained gardens and walkways. I paid a small entrance fee and began my tour of the area. The Fu Tower is known for its intricate design and historical significance, dating back hundreds of years. For three and a half days, we wandered through the streets where ancient and modern times intersected, shuttled through the elevated expressways, explored the glory of history, and felt the glory of the present. The Central Plains Fortune Tower, a few kilometers away from home, for various reasons, I have been in Zhengzhou for more than a decade and have never been up there. Yesterday, my spouse and I bought a 238 yuan single-person package to experience everything. First, we went to the 99th floor for an outdoor view. There is a chargeable spot, which costs 25 yuan if you don't have the package. This place is suitable for taking photos and checking in, with a few characteristic phrases on the glass wall: 'I miss you in Zhengzhou', 'I wish the motherland well from the Fortune Tower', etc. Then we went up to the 100th floor, which is surrounded by zodiac head portraits, and we also took photos with our respective zodiac signs. On the 101st floor, we walked in the clouds. After the staff equipped us with safety gear and secured us with safety ropes, it was indeed a bit scary. There weren't many people, and at first, everyone was moving quite slowly, partly because of fear and partly because of taking photos. The latter half of the walk was much quicker. From the 101st floor, we took a slide down to the 97th floor. Henan's 388 meters is relatively low. On this floor, we made a gold medal with a photo of the two of us, and today just happens to be May 12th, which is quite meaningful. We then went to the three cinemas on the 96th floor and experienced the so-called 5D and 7D films, which were quite thrilling. Finally, we went to the 4th floor, where there are large-scale three-dimensional effects introducing audio-visual works from all over Henan.
