Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel|The Only Overlord of Jinji Lake
Finally, I stayed at the Four Seasons in Jiangsu, which I had been longing for. I had a very good impression of this brand when I stayed at the Four Seasons in Guangzhou before. This time, I chose to stay at the Four Seasons in Suzhou for a day.
🍃 First of all, the hotel's location is very good. It is right in the center of Jinji Lake, and it is only a ten-minute drive from the Olympic Stadium where the concert is held. It is also not far from major scenic spots, and the hotel faces the Ferris wheel 🎡, allowing you to see Jinji Lake.
🏊 I came for the hotel's swimming pool, and it did not disappoint. The scenery is unbeatable. There is a western restaurant by the pool, various water bars, and the outdoor pool is very spacious, facing the Gate of the Orient.
❌ However, the hotel's service can only be described as mediocre. Not only did they leave us waiting at the front desk for a while during check-in, but the room was also not well arranged. Late check-out was not allowed, and breakfast was just like that of an ordinary five-star hotel.
🌈 Overall, this Suzhou Four Seasons seems more like you are paying for the environment. After all, it has an entire island and an infinity pool. But if I had to choose a luxury hotel in Suzhou, I would still choose the Park Hyatt across the street.

Four Seasons really excels at running resort hotels, and the beautiful view of Jinji Lake from the Four Seasons Hotel in Suzhou is absolutely top-notch
🏘️Room Type: Booked a Lake View Room, the room is spacious with an excellent view outside the window👍
🧹Cleanliness: Everything is very good
🏕️Location: The hotel is located on Ligongdi by Jinji Lake, occupying an independent small island. Since there are no other buildings around to obstruct the view, the scenery is very open and excellent. On one side, you can see the Gate of the Orient, and on the other side, it faces Suzhou IFS, with a lakeside trail that is very pleasant to walk on❤
💗Other tips: The biggest highlight of the hotel must be the outdoor infinity pool, the view is really amazing. Additionally, there is also an indoor pool which is quite good. The overall environment and design style of the hotel integrates the characteristics of Suzhou city. After the Four Seasons Hotel in West Lake, Hangzhou, Four Seasons finally has a new resort hotel in China, with excellent quality and definitely the top choice locally✅

Suzhou's Must-Stay List for Hidden Gems in the City | Four Seasons
| Four Seasons.🌟 Highlights:
The quality of Four Seasons has always been recognized. Suzhou Four Seasons is located by Jinji Lake, offering tranquility hidden in the city.
The standard rooms have very high ceilings, providing a comfortable sense of space.
It also features an outdoor garden with beautiful scenery, perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway.
The gym and swimming facilities meet the needs of guests.
⏳ Playtime:
You can also visit the nearby Jinji Lake to enjoy the fun of paddleboarding in the summer, which is very stress-relieving.
👎 Least Recommended:
However, the only downside is that during peak times, the front desk struggles to handle check-ins efficiently. After 3 PM, it took until after 5 PM to barely arrange the rooms.
Additionally, possibly due to the summer holiday, the breakfast restaurant in the morning also experienced long queues, and the food took a very long time to be served even after informing the staff, which was quite disappointing.

Four Seasons Hotel
'One island, one hotel' - The Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel opens!
Designed by Singapore's Avalon Collective, the Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel celebrated its grand opening on December 12, 2023. This is the second Four Seasons hotel in China to focus on vacationing after a 13-year hiatus, and it will be one of only two resort-style Four Seasons in China for at least the next five years.
The hotel is situated on an independent island above the picturesque Jinji Lake in Suzhou, boasting a garden landscape that makes guests linger and forget to return. From the moment guests are invited to step onto the island, the enchanting natural environment leads them on an immersive journey. From the arrival area to the vibrant social spaces, and finally to the luxurious living spaces.
Inspired by the traditional Chinese garden landscaping, the Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel perfectly embodies Suzhou culture through Chinese architectural lines as design elements. The hotel interprets the rich cultural heritage and the elegant essence of the gardens with the theme of 'a view at every step', where each step reveals a new scene, and every scene is interconnected.
As guests enter a double-height open space, they can fully appreciate the magnificent views of Jinji Lake and the city. This includes a central resting area, and bars and flower studios separated by screens on both sides, providing guests with a variety of interesting experiences from day to night, from learning to relaxation. The flower studio on the right side of the lobby can be used for Zen activities such as tea ceremonies and flower arranging, enhancing the cultural atmosphere of the lobby lounge during the day. The bar and private spaces on the left, with their floor-to-ceiling glass curtain walls, offer an unobstructed view of Jinji Lake's beauty throughout the day. As night falls, the rotating Suzhou-style screens close, creating a private atmosphere that helps guests fully relax and enjoy moments of tranquility. And on the oversized terrace, guests can enjoy the surrounding landscape of the hotel.

Reflections on Staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Suzhou
This time our team building destination was the water town of Suzhou in the Jiangnan region, and we stayed at the high-quality Four Seasons Hotel in Suzhou, which is a new hotel that opened at the end of December 2023.
🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The hotel layout is fantastic, the soundproofing in the rooms is particularly good, and the housekeeping is done with meticulous care.
🏘️Room Type/Layout: We booked the Shuitianwang Lake View Twin Room, which is 55 square meters in size, and the interior layout of the room is really great.
🛌Amenities/Facilities: The toiletries are wooden, which is quite eco-friendly, very child-friendly, and the bedding is extremely comfortable.
💰Per Capita Consumption: We booked in advance, and the per capita cost of the room type we booked was a little over a thousand, which is quite cost-effective.
💗Other tips: The hotel also has a comprehensive range of facilities, including a children's club, bar, gym, swimming pool, and lobby bar.

Suzhou's top luxury hotel - Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel
Today I tried staying at the Suzhou◎Jinji Lake Four Seasons Hotel, and overall it felt very good
The hotel is on a small island by Jinji Lake, surrounded by water on three sides, with a nice design sense
Overall, it continues the gentle temperament of Suzhou's Jiangnan water towns, with Suzhou-style garden design
The hotel area is very large, not the typical single-building city hotel, it feels like a resort once you walk in
The guest rooms incorporate many Chinese elements, which I really love
I really like the room design style, the bed is so soft, lying on it is too comfortable, and they provide some small fruits and cakes
The hotel has an infinity pool
Great for photos|
Worth experiencing for those traveling to Suzhou or sisters from Shanghai

Suzhou Four Seasons | The most recommended new city resort hotel for this summer
A one-sentence summary: A city resort that satisfies the needs of the whole family, including pets, and is a place that locals would also specifically go to stay.
▪️ Prime location. The hotel extends into a small island from the southwest corner of Jinji Lake, offering a 270-degree unobstructed lake view. The picture is of the sunrise taken from my room. The picture is from one of the hotel's only two Penthouse terraces, where you can soak in the Jacuzzi and have a panoramic view of the east and west skylines of the lake. Of course, the most Instagrammable spot is the outdoor infinity pool that frames the 'Gate of the Orient', with the best light at sunset, so the swimming season in summer is even more recommended.
▪️ Family-friendly. If you are staying with children, the kids' club at Suzhou Four Seasons is really big, with two areas just for the indoors, and that's just one part of it. There's also an outdoor children's splash pool (with water slides), and I don't believe there's a child whose energy can't be exhausted here. If you're staying with elders, the hotel's lawn garden and walking paths are also sufficient for them to take a stroll.
▪️ Pet-friendly. The courtyard rooms on the first floor of the hotel are pet-friendly, and although there is no lake view, for dogs, a large yard where they can run freely is more attractive. Additionally, there is a pet 'playground' on the large lawn in the hotel's public area.
▪️ Rich activities. For guests who can't sit still, Suzhou Four Seasons is really fun. There are two swimming pools, indoor and outdoor, for water play, cycling and jogging along the lake, flower arranging and pastel painting for those who like quiet activities, and horse riding (more for experience and photo-taking, galloping is not allowed) and sailing on Jinji Lake (I tried this and highly recommend it)... The pricing is not outrageous either, with flower arranging/pastel painting/sailing all at 288 yuan per person, and horse riding at 500 yuan per hour.
▪️ A few details.
① The hotel breakfast is highly recommended. They serve their own small wontons with a soup base made from lard, which is authentic. Additionally, the coffee is made with a semi-automatic machine, and the milk coffee even has proper latte art, which is praiseworthy.
② The mattresses of most Four Seasons hotels are too soft for me, but the mattress used by Suzhou Four Seasons is surprisingly of a medium firmness, which personally, is a plus for me.
③ The only thing I want to complain about is the disposable toothbrushes provided in the rooms; the quality is too poor, with bristles constantly falling out, and they really should change the supplier.

Suzhou! Found a hotel with great value for money
The hotel is located on a separate small island by the Jinji Lake, with the scenery set in the middle of the entire Jinji Lake, where you can see the CBD core area and the landmark building, the Gate of the Orient, from the hotel. It's very comfortable inside the hotel and yet not too far from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The front desk offers butler-style service, providing warm towels and drinking water thoughtfully, while assisting with check-in and understanding preferences, they also give a detailed introduction to the various places in the hotel.
Outdoors, you can ride a bike or walk, the scenery is nice, and the outdoor infinity pool will be ready for wading and playing when the weather gets warmer. It doesn't take long to go around the whole island, and it's a dog-friendly hotel that's also suitable for bringing little ones.
The cleaning of the guest rooms is meticulous, with a plate of fruit delivered every day, and the night bed is already turned down when you return from the gym in the evening or come back late.
The quality of breakfast is also good, with steaks available early in the morning, which is very hardcore, and the service staff in the restaurant are also very friendly and considerate.
I experienced the gym for two days, which is small but has complete aerobic and anaerobic equipment, and my family tried the Four Seasons classic SPA hydrotherapy and gave it high praise.
Next, I will start a detailed narrative of the itemized account.
Service
During this hotel experience, the service was the most memorable point for me and my mother. Whether it was the front desk, lobby bar, guest room, breakfast restaurant, or outdoors, the Four Seasons service staff were all very friendly and sincere, making the entire vacation process more relaxed and enjoyable.

Suzhou has another luxurious hotel that is pet-friendly
Advantages:
1. It is located on a private island on Jinji Lake in Suzhou, offering a tranquil vacation experience amidst the hustle and bustle.
2. Surrounded by the lake on three sides, it boasts extensive garden views. The scenery is so beautiful that it's beyond words. You can directly face the 'Giant Trousers', and the Jinji Lake view is completely unobstructed, whether you're in the lobby lounge, the infinity pool, or the lake view rooms.
3. The hotel retains the Suzhou garden style, exuding an air of sophistication. The lobby has a square layout with access to all areas, including a flower room 💐. The guest rooms are divided into east and west wings, and there is also a separate villa area, offering greater privacy.
4. I booked a Yi Garden room, and the front desk upgraded me to a Courtyard room. The room is 55 square meters, very spacious, with a sofa 🛋 in front of the semi-floor-to-ceiling windows. The mattress is exclusive to Four Seasons. The toilet and shower are separated on both sides, with a bathtub in the middle that can be manually closed off for privacy. The rest area and the wash area are also separated by folding doors.
5. Family-friendly, with play areas for both young and older children, including a workshop, climbing challenges, ocean balls... The activity area is very large, with both indoor and outdoor sections, various entertainment options, and even a cute little toilet 🚽 for young children.
6. Pet-friendly, guests who book a Courtyard room can bring pets weighing up to 11.5kg. There are exclusive play areas for pets, along with a range of special treats. Guests can also enjoy 24h🆓 parking per room per night.
7. Unique chalk drawing experiences, parent-child teaching; exclusive private island cycling, jogging experiences, and various other exclusive activities, perfect for a relaxing and comfortable weekend without leaving the hotel.
8. Breakfast at the Yunhe Restaurant is semi-buffet style, not a huge variety but okay depending on your taste. The restaurant has a children's menu, and children under 6 can enjoy breakfast for 🆓. The service is excellent and very attentive.
9. The hotel has an indoor pool, an outdoor infinity pool, and a children's pool, as well as an outdoor yoga terrace with a lake view. Covering 9 hectares, it's really large, and due to limited time, I didn't get to fully explore the hotel.
10. Visited the Terrace Suite, with a terrace larger than the room itself, offering truly amazing and beautiful views of the entire lake area. Suitable for parties, weddings, etc., with a mini bar🆓 to use, and two rooms, a master bedroom, and a nanny room.
Disadvantages:
1. The room's quilt makes a rustling noise, the material is very loud, and turning over at night is noisy, which seems to be a common experience for many people.
2. It's recommended to book a lake view room directly, as the views from the Yi Garden and Courtyard rooms are not particularly good. The room we stayed in even had a view of the restaurant.

Hotel Inspection | Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel - Long Bar
| Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel - Long Bar. 🌟 Highlights:
Facing the lobby, the Long Bar serves both as a lobby bar and a lounge, offering the best panoramic views. The floor-to-ceiling screens adorned with floral patterns are arranged on both sides, creating a subtle and graceful flow of movement while dividing the space. Sitting here, one can enjoy the shimmering waters of Jinji Lake, as nature is brought indoors, reflecting oneself amidst the mountains and waters.

Suzhou Off-the-Beaten-Path Summer Day Trip, Weekend No-Queue Strategy
Perhaps everyone knows that Suzhou has long become a hot tourist destination. Those old streets and ancient towns we used to visit are still crowded even if you try to visit on a weekday to avoid the peak times! Fortunately, I've carefully planned a super niche weekend day trip itinerary that almost entirely avoids queues and waiting!
🚶 Itinerary: Suzhou City God Temple - Green Yang Wonton (Guanqian Store) - Suzhou Confucian Temple - Xiao Jiang Potstickers (Cultural Palace Store) - Xietang Old Street - Wanchangxing - Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel
👉 Suzhou City God Temple
If you're too scared to visit Xiyuan Temple and Hanshan Temple because of the overwhelming crowds, why not go to Suzhou City God Temple instead! It's only a few dozen meters away from the bustling Guanqian Street, but it seems to separate all the noise and crowds outside the temple gates.
Surrounding must-try food: Green Yang Wonton (Guanqian Store), located behind Guanqian Street, so there's basically no need to wait for a table. As an old-brand wonton and dim sum shop, both the environment and service are quite impressive.
👉 Suzhou Confucian Temple
Here you can find a temple for worshipping Confucius, the Suzhou Stele Museum of national treasure level, as well as various gardens and corridors. You can easily take in nearly 1000 years of history, and there are very few tourists, so you can look and take photos however you want!
Surrounding must-try food: Xiao Jiang Potstickers (Cultural Palace Store), an authentic Suzhou-style potsticker old shop, also offering rare shrimp and beef potstickers.
👉 Xietang Old Street
The brand-new Jinji Lake is home to a 700+ year old town. The ten-mile Xietang of the old Gusu city has now become a shopping and dining paradise only known to locals! Unlike the overly crowded Pingjiang Road and Shantang Street, here you can only find leisure and comfort. It's perfect to find a coffee shop or tea house for an afternoon tea, so relaxing!
Surrounding must-try food: Wanchangxing's traditional Suzhou-style noodle feast, the sesame shrimp noodles that you can't find anywhere else are amazing! A small dish of sesame shrimp topping, directly condensing more than 10,000 tiny shrimps that never grow up, no wonder it's so delicious that you can't stop!
👉 Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel
An independent island hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, it also offers a direct view of Jinji Lake. Strolling on the hotel's exclusive lakeside path in the evening, seeing Suzhou from a different angle, is truly breathtaking la~
SLOAN MORAN
The best vacation hotel in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai is here, satisfying all your needs with a private island perfect for pet and family-friendly getaways
The eighth Four Seasons in China is located on an independent island on Jinji Lake, accessible via the hotel-named Four Seasons Road. After nearly a decade of cultivation, the garden's greenery has flourished into a picturesque scene. The private island faces the Suzhou New District across the lake, making its location truly exceptional. Moreover, its pet-friendly and family-friendly amenities make it my top choice for vacations in the Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Shanghai area.

Suzhou Tourism - Great Places to Stay
Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel embodies the beauty of Eastern charm.
The Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel is a blend of retro and modern!
Situated in Suzhou, it draws from the city's gentle, natural, and poetic spirit. Walking on the spacious asphalt roads, the greenery on both sides gently opens the way, and the shallow streams cleverly become a soft partition for the hotel's formal areas. Then, entering the hotel, the perspective from inside to outside creates a completely different impression. The overlapping hills and greenery bring a strong sense of seclusion indoors, colliding with the peaceful and quiet living environment. The space design incorporates a lot of Suzhou elements, with the retro exterior containing the unique elegance of Suzhou. The orderly interwoven black grilles and surrounding lines of lights progressively outline the city's memory.
Experience Divider Line
However, because I visited at the end of January this year, the plants seemed a bit desolate, and there were super many tiny flying bugs (so many that it's outrageous, definitely wear a mask if you go! Not sure if they're still there now hahaha)
Secondly, the interior of the hotel is quite nice, but I'm not sure if the outdoor pool is not in use during winter, as it was not maintained and looked rather desolate.
Lastly, many of the water features in the outdoor landscape were not turned on, so the garden experience was not very good.
I went with high expectations, but it was a bit of a letdown, perhaps because the hotel had not been open for very long.

Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel | A sense of luxury in Chinese style
A sense of luxury in Chinese style. The Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel is located at No. 88 Siji Road, Wuzhong District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, on the Lake Heart Island by Jinji Lake. It has just opened, and there are rumors in the industry that the quality of the establishment is very high, so I went to see it for myself. After experiencing it on site, it is indeed very exquisite and luxurious. The Suzhou Four Seasons and the Nanjing Andaz come from the same design firm. Intricately luxurious but with a full sense of sophistication. Everywhere is a modern interpretation of traditional Chinese decorative elements.

Suzhou Luxury Hotel
There's now another compelling reason to visit Suzhou, and as a hotel enthusiast, how could you miss the newly opened Four Seasons Hotel at the end of 2023! A true one-island-one-hotel, the Suzhou Four Seasons exclusively occupies the entire island on the shore of Jinji Lake, offering superb privacy and a perfect retreat atmosphere. It has been over 3 years since our beloved metropolis said goodbye to the Four Seasons brand, and although a new project has been officially announced, it seems that we'll have to rely on the sincerity of a hotel's breakfast to fill the gap, with caviar, Wagyu beef, lobster, salmon, and Spanish ham all being used to create various delicacies.☕ The afternoon tea at the Long Lounge is also impressive, but it can get a bit noisy on weekends. As for the new hotel's attention to service details, there's clearly some room for improvement. The indoor modern Chinese-style pool with its starry underwater ambiance sparkles beneath the ripples, and lifting your eyes reveals the stunning night view of Suzhou city.⛰️
The dishes are exquisite, with both savory and sweet flavors just right~
🤜 Suzhou-style cherry pork is rich but not greasy
🤜 Hazelnut duck liver pâté served with Shanghai scallion pancakes
🤜 Pomelo-flavored spicy shrimp
🤜 Crispy-skinned golden chicken
🤜 Pickled vegetable and yellow croaker noodles
🤜 The accompanying small bowls for the dry-fried silk are all served hot, which is really quite meticulous
The average cost per person is around 800, and for private rooms, it's 1000+ per person, a very 👍🏻 place

I'm in love with the ceiling of the Suzhou resort hotel
The lake is graceful, and the galaxy is enchanting.
Day and night alternate, brimming with the spirit of spring.
Follow 📍 Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou
Immerse yourself in the neighboring space, and your heart will be pleasantly stirred.
✔️ A stunning creation of one island, one hotel, not to be underestimated. The overall style is a low-key new Chinese style, filled with an elegant sense of order, where you can feel the unique cultural heritage of Suzhou and the charm of Oriental aesthetics. Everything is pleasing to the eye and harmonious, with luxury subtly revealed.
✔️ I stayed in the Lake View King Room, designed in the new Chinese style, with tea tables, cushions, carved screens, etc., all revealing the charm of Suzhou's Jiangnan in the details. The rooms come with their own private sun terraces, where you can see the lake's colors leap into view from your room, and in the morning, by simply opening the window, you can enjoy the landscape of mountains and waters, while in the evening, you still have the lake light to accompany you by the bed.
✔️ The Lounge and Bar 'Lóng Láng' shows two completely different atmospheres during the day and night. During the sunny day, it is the ideal place for socializing over afternoon tea for gentlemen and ladies, and when night falls, it transforms into a lively cocktail bar. Coinciding with the BKK Social Club from the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok landing in Suzhou, the guest mixologist creates a night of special cocktails not to be missed, bringing a variety of creative cocktails full of ingenuity, for an intoxicating night.
✔️ The all-day dining restaurant 'Yun He' offers a rich and varied buffet dinner with exquisite dishes according to different seasons, providing different kinds of unique flavors, with a high quality feel that's off the charts! The breakfast here is available until 11:00, and paired with a glass of sparkling wine as an appetizer, it's definitely a wonderful day full of energy!
✔️ The Chinese restaurant 'Jin Jing Ge' specializes in Jiangsu and Zhejiang cuisine, offering the ultimate freshness in early spring, with dishes that are fresh and tasty, giving you a taste of spring in every bite.
✔️ The hotel itself is like a small garden, with beautiful scenery at every step.
✔️ Experiences such as pink painting, flower arranging, meditation singing bowls, and cycling around the lake, welcome the holiday with a happy posture.
✔️ The hotel has a full-time managed playground designed for children, and it is also a dog-friendly hotel.

Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel!! Island Hotel!
The hotel is described on the official website as offering a 'private vacation' experience, so it is expected to be similar to the Hangzhou location.
The greatest advantage of the Suzhou Four Seasons is its geographical location, as the hotel occupies the entire island on the south side of Jinji Lake, offering unobstructed views of the lake and the park skyline. After arriving on the island, you can reach the lobby by following the winding ramp upwards. Different from the vacation vibe, the hotel interior carries a sense of solemnity akin to a state guesthouse, with wide corridors, cold stone materials paired with exaggerated chandeliers, giving the first impression of entering a formal banquet hall, lacking a relaxed and intimate vacation atmosphere.
The hotel has more than 200 guest rooms, distributed on the east and west sides, with only a portion currently open. The official claim for the lake view rooms is 55 square meters, but they seem to be less than 50 square meters in reality. The layout of the rooms is quite standard, with a full view upon entering. Also adopting a modern Chinese design, the feel is very different from the Park Hyatt across the lake; the Four Seasons' design features intricate lines and a heavy sense of decoration materials. The highlight of the room is the mini balcony, but the glass doors and windows with sun-shading film block the night view. The room amenities use the same Mulan Qin Xia as the Ritz-Carlton, which is also the replacement after the original Pudong Four Seasons changed its brand, using it always feels a bit ironic.
The hotel's Chinese restaurant, Jinjing Pavilion, is highly recommended. Many classic dishes from the Golden Hall have been creatively revised here, and it is said that the kitchen team also came from there. The restaurant is surrounded by an artificial waterscape, with decorative lights in the water like stars, which are very poetic at night.

A warm journey at the Four Seasons Hotel in Suzhou!
Staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Suzhou is like stepping into a delicate scroll of the Jiangnan water town. The hotel's design cleverly combines tradition and modernity, allowing people to enjoy modern comfort in classical aesthetics. The interior decoration of the room is elegant, with the lake and mountain scenery in full view, especially the delicate service, which makes people feel very kind. From the hot tea of the welcome to the warm snacks of the night bed service, every detail reveals thoughtfulness and consideration.
In the early morning, enjoy the authentic Suzhou breakfast in the hotel's restaurant, and the sweetness flowing between the taste buds is different. When checking out, the enthusiastic greetings and quick and efficient procedures of the staff put a perfect end to the entire accommodation experience. The Four Seasons Hotel in Suzhou is not only a simple stay, but also an unforgettable journey, leaving beautiful and profound memories.

Experience the four seasons on an island
Since I learned last year that the Four Seasons in Suzhou is about to open, I have been longing to plan a stay and finally got a vacation!
Overall feeling: The layout of one island and one hotel makes guests feel as if they are in a paradise, enjoying the 360-degree view of Jinji Lake. Walking or running around the island in leisure time is also a pleasant sightseeing experience; The layout of the east and west rooms inside the hotel also creates a lot of space freedom and privacy for guests, even if the weekend traffic increases, staying in the room or wandering in public areas will not feel noisy.
The room facilities are satisfactory, from the detail design to the hardware and spare parts, all reflect the quality of the Four Seasons and the care for the needs of the guests.
The breakfast is worth praising, from the category to the refinement, few hotel breakfasts can provide salmon cooked in various ways, as well as options such as caviar, steak, etc. The salad dressing gives avocado jam, Feta cheese is also a surprise; local flavors of fresh meat crispy cakes, red bean crispy cakes, radish crispy cakes, small wontons are worth a try; French toast is oily and sweet, I like it very much.
I also want to praise the SPA of the Four Seasons, the technician's technique is in place, the unique bowl sound experience adds a lot to the whole process, the two-hour course makes people get rid of fatigue and relax.
Thank you for the friendliness and kindness of all the staff of the Four Seasons. This stay makes people feel the gentleness and delicacy of the Four Seasons, just right. In future trips to Suzhou, the Four Seasons is of course the first choice.

A luxury hotel that monopolizes the entire island of Suzhou, caviar and beef lobster all come with breakfast!
There is another reason to go to Suzhou, as a hotel enthusiast, how can you miss the Four Seasons Hotel in Suzhou that will open at the end of 2023!
👉 The Four Seasons in Suzhou, which is truly a one-island-one-hotel, directly monopolizes the entire island on the shore of Jinji Lake in Suzhou, with excellent privacy and full of secluded vacation style.
👉 It has been 3️⃣ years+ since the big magic city said goodbye to the Four Seasons brand, although the new construction plan has been officially announced, but the current window period, it seems that it will have to be filled by the new Four Seasons in Suzhou~
👉 The hotel's breakfast is full of sincerity, caviar/beef/lobster/salmon/Spanish ham are all used to make various delicious combinations, great!
👉 The afternoon tea in the Long Gallery is also very good, but there are too many people on weekends, in addition to a little bit of noise, the service details of the new hotel, obviously can't keep up.

Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel‖"Private Vacation" Experience!
Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel
The first day of the opening of the Suzhou Four Seasons Hotel…
I've been looking forward to it for a long time, and I checked in on the opening day. The hotel is described on the official website as offering a "private vacation" experience, so I expected it to be similar to the Hangzhou store.
The biggest advantage of Suzhou Four Seasons is its geographical location. The hotel occupies the entire island on the south side of Jinji Lake, where you can enjoy unobstructed lake views and park skyline. After arriving on the island, you can reach the lobby by spiraling up the ramp. Different from the holiday feeling, the hotel interior carries some solemnity like a state guesthouse, with wide corridors, cold stone materials paired with exaggerated chandeliers, the first impression is more like walking into a formal banquet hall, lacking a relaxed and intimate holiday atmosphere.
The operation on the opening day was orderly, and it can be seen that the hotel has put a lot of thought into preparation. The hotel has more than 200 rooms, distributed on the east and west sides, and only a part is currently open. The lake view room is officially claimed to be 55 square meters, but it seems to be less than 50 square meters in reality. The room layout is quite conventional, and you can see the whole picture as soon as you enter the door. The same modern Chinese design is used, which feels very different from the Park Hyatt across the lake. The design lines of the Four Seasons are complicated, and the decoration materials are heavily stacked. The highlight of the room is the mini balcony, but the shading film glass doors and windows block the night view. The room supplies use the same Magnolia Qinxia as Lijing, which is also the replacement after the original Pudong Four Seasons changed its name to Lijing, and it always feels a bit ironic.
The hotel's Chinese restaurant Jinjing Pavilion is highly recommended. Many classic dishes in the Golden Sand Hall have been creatively improved here, and I heard that the kitchen team also came from there. The restaurant surrounds an artificial waterscape, and the star-like decorative lights in the water are very artistic at night.
