Shenzhen One-Day Hiking Tour in February | Sharing This Stunning Mountain and Sea Route
Shenzhen has no shortage of its own mountain and sea beauty⛰️.
Of all the hiking trails🚶♂️, my favorite is this one in Yantian📍.
Spend a day hiking, watching the sea of clouds, enjoying the flowers🌸, and riding a small train🚂.
Recommended for those who, like me, are not very athletic but love to have fun😅~
I recommend going on a sunny day☀️, as sunlight is the best filter🌈 for mountain and sea scenery.

1️⃣ Hiking
🔹After entering the trail entrance, navigate to "Yunhai Square". You will also see signs along the way. Choose the path towards Meishajian and keep climbing.
🔹The total length from the entrance to Yunhai Square is about 1.4 km. The steps have a moderate slope. There are surprises along the way if you look back from time to time. It takes about 1.5-2 hours to walk there, stopping occasionally. ‼️Note that there are no restrooms on the way. It is recommended to use the restroom near the entrance and bring enough drinking water.

2️⃣ Yunhai Square
🔹After reaching the top, you will see a pure white boat-shaped building. This is one of the best places to overlook Yantian Port. Shenzhen's highest library is open for free, and the cafe offers comfortable window seats where you can order a drink and enjoy the clouds rolling by. It's very pleasant.
🔹Note that the library is closed on Mondays‼️. Those who like excitement can try paragliding at the base next door~

3️⃣ Zuiying Pavilion
🔹In Xiaosanzhou, the fastest and most comfortable way is to take the "Yunhai Special Line" down from Yunhai Square to the "Zuiying Pavilion" stop. If you continue hiking, navigate to "Zuiying Pavilion". The distance is 4 km, which takes about 1 hour.
🔹Cherry blossoms bloom every year from February to March. The flowering period is relatively short. Even if you don't see the flowers, it's worth taking a stroll here. The reservoir, lawn, and greenery offer fresh air and pleasant scenery.

4️⃣ Forest Train
🔹From "Zuiying Pavilion", continue walking down to the "Forest Train". The distance is 2.2 km, which takes about 1 hour. You can also take the "Yunhai Special Line" from the "Zuiying Pavilion" stop to the "Tea Stream Valley parking lot" stop and walk a few dozen meters to the entrance. Tickets🎫 are CNY30 on weekdays and CNY50 on weekends. Opening hours⏰ are 10:00-17:00. ⚠️As long as you don't leave the gate, you can ride the train multiple times on the same day.
🔹Here you can see the European-style buildings and beautiful lake scenery among the hidden mountain forests of Tea Stream Valley. This stop has a Miyazaki-esque style. The entire track is 5,200 meters long, and one loop takes about 50 minutes, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the scenery and take photos.
