While winter might not be the most popular time to head to the beach, our trip to Flamingo Cat Ba Resort turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of the year. Amid the busy end-of-year hustle, my friends and I decided to take a short escape to relax, reflect, and enjoy some quality time together – and Flamingo Cat Ba was the perfect place for that. 📍Location & First Impressions: The resort is ideally located right by Cat Co 1 and 2 beaches, offering breathtaking views of both the sea and surrounding mountains. Flamingo Cat Ba features three modern towers connected by the iconic Sky Walk – a glass bridge suspended mid-air, making even the short walks between buildings feel like an adventure. 🏠Accommodation: We stayed in a spacious 2-bedroom suite with a large balcony overlooking the sea. The room was airy, well-furnished, and equipped with modern amenities. The wide balcony quickly became our favorite spot to enjoy the fresh ocean breeze and soak in the serene atmosphere. 🛏️ Facilities & Services: This resort feels like a small town of its own, offering everything from arcade games and karaoke rooms to a spa, gym, onsen, multiple swimming pools, karaoke, (including a heated indoor pool), and several dining options. 🥗 Speaking of food, we tried all three on-site restaurants, and Lan Ha Restaurant was a definite standout. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Even the pastries were surprisingly good! Breakfast buffet was impressive too, with a wide selection that even my foreign friend highly praised. Having breakfast in a restaurant with views of both mountains and sea? Truly a unique and relaxing experience. Overall Experience: Traveling to the beach in winter turned out to be a hidden gem: fewer crowds, more affordable rates, attentive service, and a peaceful ambiance. Flamingo Cat Ba Resort is a wonderful destination for those seeking a relaxing, all-in-one getaway with friends or loved ones – even in the off-season.
