Group trip to Santorini 🇬🇷
#grouptravel
Our group trip to Santorini was beyond magical! The island lived up to its reputation with its stunning views, whitewashed buildings, and deep blue sea. We stayed in Fira, which is the perfect base for exploring. One of the highlights was watching the sunset in Oia—absolutely breathtaking! We didn’t need to pay an entrance fee, just found a good spot on the cliffs with a view over the caldera.
We also took a boat trip to the volcanic islands of Nea Kameni and Palea Kameni, which cost around €20 for the tour. Hiking up the volcano was surreal, and the views were incredible. Afterward, we swam in the hot springs—a perfect way to relax after the hike.
Santorini’s nightlife was great for a group—lots of lively bars in Fira. And of course, the food was amazing! We shared platters of fresh seafood and local specialties like fava and tomato fritters at every meal.

The sunset in Santorini is a unique romance of the Aegean Sea
📍Greece, Santorini
Although Santorini has been heavily criticized by tourists, with many warning posts, we were still amazed on our first visit to Santorini. Whether it's the scenery or the service facilities, it surpasses all the 'little Santorinis'. This blue and white domed architectural complex built along the mountain has not yet found a city or town that can replace it.
‼️However, the shortcomings of Santorini must also be mentioned:
1. The public bus system is very chaotic, and the timetable is not integrated into Google Maps. However, you can get a paper timetable as soon as you get off the plane, which is generally accurate, with a margin of error of 10 minutes early or late. At popular attractions like Fira and Oia, you won't miss the bus. The roads are dusty, and people drive recklessly, making it unfriendly for non-self-driving tourists.
2. Accommodation in Fira and Oia is generally expensive, with restaurants offering good views costing at least 50💶 per person.
3. It's hot and sunny!
💡In summary, here is a suitable itinerary for summer and some photo spots:
1️⃣ Around 9 am, take Bus 10 from Santorini Bus Stop in Fira to Oia, which takes about 25 minutes.
2️⃣ The classic angle in Oia is the Picturesque Blue Dome Santorini (p12). In the afternoon, it's backlit, and around 11 am, you can take a photo after waiting for about 10 minutes. Walk along the main road of the town to the Windmill of Oia, which is a photo spot for the windmill. Both are in Oia.
3️⃣ Have lunch in Oia and take the bus back to Fira around 14:20.
4️⃣ It's recommended to rest at your accommodation until around 19:00 before going out. The light is good at that time, and the temperature has dropped. Fira itself is not very big.
5️⃣ Half an hour before sunset, you can walk to the I Love Santorini area, where the whole road is lined with sunset viewing platforms.
6️⃣ After sunset, you can slowly walk along the road to Viewpoint Fira at night, where the lights gradually come on during the blue hour.
7️⃣ Walk to the Santorini Cable Car - Upper Station, and it will be completely dark by then.
💡Here are two more photo spots where you can capture the sunset with the blue-domed church:
1. Three Bells of Fira iconic viewpoint
2. View point (Top view)
Both are a bit far, so consider accordingly.

Saturday well spent in Fira centre
Spent a good lunch overlooking the Caldera in Fira centre in a Greek restaurant.
Went for fried calamari and a traditional Gemista (stuffed bell peppers with rice)
Had a short walk and had a break for a natural frozen yogurt (Chill Box) at the heart of Fira centre.
Went for x2 drinks ( a glass of wine + cocktail) after sunset at the lovely Paliakameni Cocktail Bar overlooking Caldera (PK cocktail bar )
Spent a total of 50€ in a day
Well spent and good value for a perfect Saturday!#cyclades #passionpassport #foodie

Autumn sunset
Start a good walk from Fira centre towards direction of Pyrgos, begin slowly at 17:00 hrs.
Enjoy the open caldera view by the national road.
It’s an open view so you can find a good spot at an angle of your preference and get a spot to sit, get comfy.
Watch as the sun slowly descends, creating a beautiful sunset colour on the Aegean Sea.
Breathtaking.#cyclades #passionpassport #sunset

For Chinese people it is like being home abroad! The food is prepared by Chinese cooks! The dishes are delicious and smell Asian! My wife is Chinese and said it like her mom’s food! So we came here twice! We had Malatang 麻辣烫 with fried tofu 豆腐泡 and today the same dish with Chinese mushrooms 香菇! Also sushi 寿司🍣is tasty!I had 4 pieces salmon avocado flavored Maki Me.
The prices vary from Euros 3.90 to 12.30 and are very reasonable and the portions beside Sushi are really big!
There is free wifi too!
how to get there: Conviently located on Central Square in a pedestrian area downtown Fora it is only 2 minutes from the bus station!

This is Fira, or Thira - The so-called capital of the island of Santorini. No, this is not the famous Oia where are the blue domes and white buildings. This town is bigger and yes, a little bit looks like Oia, but is not the same. There are many donkeys here that you can ride and also a cable car.

Location
Just in the town of Fira, there is a small museum at the doorstep, 10 minutes walk The main commercial street, 15 minutes to the cliffs of Fira Sea View, you can go to see a beautiful sunset every day.
Booking method
Booking reservation, by the way, send an email to the landlord to pick up the airport, the pick-up fee is 30 Euro. When the check-out, the landlord also sent me to the next hotel for free. The one-stop service was very intimate.
Price
I live in a superior apartment with a price of 1260 yuan/night, and the luxury apartment is bigger and the price is more expensive. Although you can see the sea through some roads and buildings, the price is very high compared to the price of the cliff hotel
next share another home in Santorini, located in Pyrgos, by wine Its super-beautiful and perfect for taking pictures. Leave a message for other travel questions, and remember to like it.

Santorini, Greece, not only has the most beautiful sunsets in the world, but also the most beautiful sunrise in the world.
Diana Village, a hotel in the seafront of Fira Town, Dawa Village, wake up and open the window at the moment of the moment, simply cried us beautifully

In Santorini, Greece, walking around is a fascinating landscape, whether it is the red sand beach, the black sand beach or the old town, indulging in the infinite romance of this blue and white architecture.
This time in Santorini, Greece, stay at the Cliff Hotel in Fira Town. Although you have to walk some stone steps every time you arrive at the room, the scenery is beautiful, and there are many restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. Take the cable car or ride the donkey to the old pier by the sea. Facing the sun, the Aegean Sea, the holiday is so pure, completely relaxed~

11-day trip to Greece for a couple, with two hiking routes.
Santorini Hotel We flew directly to Santorini from Athens Airport, saving time by not leaving the airport. Although there is a ferry between Santorini and Athens, it is very slow, so flying is the most convenient option. We went to Santorini first and left Athens for last to avoid the risk of missing a flight due to traveling between cities. The first hiking route is from Fira to Oia, a 10 km route along the caldera with stunning sea views. There are few people along the way, and you will see several blue-domed churches. Some sections of the road are volcanic gravel, so wear hiking shoes. Before setting off, we stored our luggage at a luggage storage near the bus station in Fira, because after returning by bus, we had to take a bus to the port to take a ferry to Crete. Crete Historical Museum Crete Natural History Museum Knossos Palace Crete is very large, and we stayed for three days, choosing some attractions, mainly lying on the beach. Just looking at the sea is worth the ticket price. Delphi We took a night ferry from Crete and arrived in Athens in the morning, saving time and a night's accommodation. We took the subway from the port of Athens to the long-distance bus station, and then took a three-hour bus to Delphi. When we arrived in Delphi, we could feel that Greece is a mountainous country, with people building small towns in the mountains and overlooking the sea. The second hiking route is from the mountains to the sea, with 4 km through the largest olive grove. It was the olive harvest season, and the villagers were busy harvesting olives, making the village unusually quiet and beautiful. Bougainvillea, cats, and dogs can be seen everywhere, making it a very healing route. The total hiking distance is 15 km, all downhill, and you can swim in the sea when you reach the beach. Finally, we took a bus from Delphi back to Athens and stayed in a hotel near the Acropolis, spending a whole day exploring the Acropolis and its surroundings.

Just returned from a fantastic time in Fira, Santorini, and I’m still buzzing from the experience! 🌅 This stunning cliffside town offers breathtaking views of the caldera and the Aegean Sea. The winding streets are lined with beautiful shops, charming cafés, and incredible restaurants. Exploring is free, but if you want to visit some of the museums, like the Museum of Prehistoric Thera, there’s a small entrance fee of about 12 euros.
One of my favorite moments was watching the sunset from the iconic viewpoints—it's like a postcard come to life! I also took a stroll down to the old port; the views are even more spectacular from down there. Don't miss out on the local delicacies—try the fava and fresh seafood at a taverna! Fira is the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, making it a highlight of my trip.
