This time I want to introduce Uluru, a place in central Australia. I flew from Melbourne to Ayres Rock Airport, and the flight only took about three hours. Starting at four in the morning, each person has to carry 2 liters of drinking water up the valley, and has to climb 500 stairs in the desert under the scorching sun before starting the official 4-hour hike. When talking about the center of the world or the huge rock in central Australia, I believe everyone will say the name Uluru without any prior agreement. However, the place introduced today is not inferior to Uluru at all. It is even taller, wider and more spectacular than Uluru. This is Kata Tjuta, which is listed as a World Natural and Cultural Heritage together with Uluru. Kata Tjuta, also known as Mount Olga, was named in 1872 by explorer Ernest Giles in memory of the Russian-born Grand Duchess Queen Olga. The local government officially adopted a dual naming policy on December 15, 1993, so today, we often see these two names appearing at the same time. According to the language of the local Aboriginal people, Kata Tjuta means many heads. In fact, Kata Tjuta is indeed composed of 36 uniquely shaped dome-shaped boulders. The boulders vary in shape and size. Most of them appear brown-red when viewed from a close distance. We spent only three days in Yulara NT, Australia. it was very hot and dry there as it was in Summer time. However, it was one of our memorable adventures! Uluru Segway tour was one of our lists. It took us about two hours to get around this amazing big rock on Segway. The guide tours were very friendly and professional. They picked us up from the hotel at 5:30 am and also provided us lovely breakfast. the tour finished around 2:30 pm. we had so much fun riding the camel for the first time! it’s like hopping on the train because each camel will be connected to each other! Each camels has its own personality, which some can be very naughty! Its totally safe and enjoyable. one thing was that my bum was so sore after almost 2 hours ride 😂. We spent a weekend visiting the incredible Uluru- Kata Tjuṯa National park. The resort was so convenient as it had everything you needed for any type of stay and was so close to the airport and park. We visited the town square for cafes, shops and the supermarket for supplies. We went to the outback hotel for their relaxed bar area. We watched the drone show at night and then got up for the sunrise and definitely recommend both. Very nicely done and super informative and respectful.

The surrounding wilderness was serene and vast, accompanied only by the sound of the wind and the distant chirping of birds. In this moment, you could feel the pulse of the land, and ancient stories echoed within you. When the sun fully reached the summit of the rock, Uluru became like a temple, majestic and sacred, a breathtaking sight.
