Our itinerary included visits to A Famosa, Dutch Square, the Taming Sari Tower, Jonker Street, and a scenic walk along the Melaka River. The compact layout of the city made it easy and pleasant to explore on foot. After a full day of sightseeing and wandering around the charming Jonker Street, we headed to LōuKót Cafe for dinner. The highlight of our meal included their signature Mutton Biryani, Biryani with Rendang Chicken, LōuKót Curry Bread, and a comforting Chai Latte. It completely surprised me in the best way. 😳 The tea aroma is subtle but beautifully layered into the soft, creamy cake. 🍵 Wuyi Oolong Tea – RM15 You really can’t go wrong with this. Strong, smooth, and fragrant — a great option if you’re not into sweet drinks. The aftertaste is clean and satisfying. Classic and comforting. ⸻ If you’re planning a cafe day in Melaka, Shan Pin is totally worth the stop — especially for that Genmaicha crepe cake. I’m still thinking about it. 🤭 You get this melt-in-your-mouth texture first, followed by a warm, roasted tea fragrance that slowly unfolds. If you’re in Malacca, this matcha toast is a must-try‼️ Just look at that pour — thick layers of matcha sauce and butter 🧈 generously stacked on crispy toast. What I really loved is that the matcha sauce isn’t overly sweet — it has that slightly bitter, earthy taste, perfectly balanced by the creamy butter. If you’re a matcha fan, this combo will hit just right. 💚 We also tried their fried chicken nasi lemak, and wow — the aroma of the coconut rice was amazing. The chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned with rempah spices — rich, flavorful, and very uniquely Malaysian. #malaccatrip I recently stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway. The hotel itself has a beautiful, luxurious design, and the lobby makes a fantastic first impression with its elegant decor. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a beautiful city view. The bed was very cozy, and the bathroom was spotless, stocked with high-quality toiletries. The staff was generally friendly and attentive. Check-in and check-out were quick, and the concierge was helpful with local recommendations. The breakfast buffet had a nice variety of options, from fresh fruit to made-to-order omelets, catering to many tastes. However, I did experience a few issues that took away from the stay. The elevators were very slow, which was frustrating, especially during busy check out hours. I found myself waiting several minutes just to get down to the lobby. On top of that, breakfast was a bit chaotic. I had to wait nearly 15 minutes to be seated one morning, which wasn’t ideal when I had plans. Overall, this hotel has potential, but the slow elevators and breakfast seating delays made it feel less organized than I expected for a hotel at this level. I’d consider staying again but would request a late check out to solve this problem and hope these issues are improve. Thanks.

We chose the three-day two-night cruise on the Genting Dream and were very lucky to be upgraded to a balcony room. The room not only provided WiFi but also had a nightly drink allowance of SGD 50, totaling SGD 100 for the entire trip. If you don't like alcoholic beverages, you can practically drink to your heart's content, as the prices on the ship are relatively reasonable, about 1 to 1.5 times the prices in Singapore city. There are plenty of activities on the ship, and the atmosphere is great. You can play bingo together, watch movies on the big screen, or enjoy live shows. You can also dance to liven up the atmosphere, or try your luck at the casino. Time flies, and before you know it, it's time to sleep. Now, let's review the room. Basic amenities like towels and toothbrushes are provided, and the room is cleaned daily. The balcony room is much more spacious than the interior cabin, but for some reason, our bed had a low-frequency vibration that might affect sensitive sleepers. As for dining, there are many options, and while tastes vary, you can always find something you like. Overall, this cruise is perfect for those who don't want to busy themselves with planning and just want to relax and unwind.

🚌Transportation: Download [easybook or redbus], select [TBS Kuala Lumpur - Melaka Sentral]. There are trains from different companies at different times. Many people recommend KKKL, but I feel it is similar to other companies. 💰The price is around 13RM, ⌚The journey takes about 2 hours We exchanged the paper ticket at the counter with the email, and some people said that we can directly scan the QR code to enter. If you don’t want to exchange the ticket, you can try it. ❗During the peak summer season, you must buy tickets in advance. You may not be able to buy tickets for the right time at the offline counter. ✅Route: Jonker Street (don’t take Sam Shu Gong Street, take the parallel road on the left, Nyonya style) ➡️Malacca River ➡️Red House Square (church, fountain, red house) ➡️St. Paul’s Hill ➡️Jonker Street ➡️Straits Mosque to watch the sunset It was noon when we arrived, and we took a taxi directly from the station to the restaurant. The restaurant we wanted to go to was not open, so we went to the next door 🍛【Nyonya Private Kitchen】, which is run by a Chinese. The price and taste are quite good. Malacca's attractions are all concentrated and can be reached on foot. Although it is very hot, it is not recommended to take a taxi because there is really traffic jam! After visiting the three attractions, we returned to Jonker Street and had 🍧[eha juice & veggie bistro] the very popular Musang King Durian Ice💰30RM. The durian flavor was very strong, but there was no air conditioning in the store, probably because the durian smell was quite strong. ⚠️Because we planned to go back to Kuala Lumpur to see the night view in the evening, we left early and did not go to watch the sunset. #Share travel plan Share a travel plan for Malaysia KL-MELAKA-JOHORBHARU If anyone gets on a plane and lands at KL airport, you can rent a car from the airport and travel here. We will start from Johorbharu to Malacca and KL. Day 1: Legoland Johor Bharu Drive from KL for 4 hours. Legoland here is divided into 3 parts: rides, amusement park, aquarium and water park. I must say that the aquarium is not worth the price. But the other parts are okay. The only downside is that the weather is a bit hot. After entering Legoland, drive to Malacca because Malacca hotels are cheaper. The food is also cheaper. Day 2: Visit Malacca city at Dutch Square. Next to Dutch is Musium Samudera. The downside is that the weather is hot all year round. After taking pictures, go to sleep at a hotel in L. Day 3: Leave the hotel and go to Genting Amusement Park, both indoor and outdoor. The weather is good. The rides are fun. I am impressed. After playing, we went back to the hotel to rest again. Day 4: Merdeka, we traveled in KL city, we went to the KLCC Twin Towers, nearby there is Saloma Bridge where people come to take pictures, we went to Merdeka near the walking street, there is quite a lot of traffic in the city and it is hard to find parking, we had to park in the mall and walk around to take pictures at the places we marked. The lobby was spacious, modern and stylishly decorated, which set the tone for the rest of my stay. I stayed in a clean, spacious room 30 level 18 and in good condition. The amenities, such as the fitness center and pool, were top-notch and made for an enjoyable stay. The location was convenient and allowed me to easily explore the area. Breakfast spread was great. The selection of breakfast was good. They serve Malaysian, Chinese and western style of food. Nice infinity pool and well equipped gym on the 8th floor.
