Getting there: You can take the tube and stop at Invalides station. You will see the garden once you come out of the station.
Highlights: The Esplanade des Invalides is an interesting place, with an exquisite entrance gate and old cannons and other military equipment around. It looked like a magnificent building without the lights on, but when the lights were turned on it was a completely new place. It is surrounded by a huge lawn and there are a lot places for people to sit around and relax. You can have a good view of the Eiffel Tower and Hotel Invalides from here.
