In Thailand, there are many forests and national parks. Some are not far from the capital city of Bangkok. Kanchanaburi is a province in the south west area of Thailand. It takes around three hours to get there from Bangkok by car. Getting there by train is another good option. There are a few national parks in this province and I took a one day trip to visit the Erawan National Park. Inside the park, there's a 7 levels of the famous Phu Pha Erawan or Erawan Waterfall. It took me around 45 minutes to reach the top level. The place was breathtaking. #passionpassport The last leg of our journey to Kanchanaburi was to visit the Erawan National Park where magnificent waterfalls are located with awesome view and very cool water to swim in. We arrived at about 3pm and there was only one and a half hours to spent our time enjoying the National park and have a dip at the waterfall pool. The exact location is at 94GV+5HW, Tha Kradan, Si Sawat District, Chang Wat Kanchanaburi 71250, Thailand. It was really a fun day at the waterfall and we would love to have a little more time before the closure of the park on the day. It was really fun for all ages. We enjoyed swimming, sliding and climbing at the waterfall as well as taking in beautiful scenery. Really amazing..

Erawan National Park is a good place to enjoy nature, hiking and escape from hustle and bustle. Entrance fee for foreigners is 300 thb, and 100 thb for Thai. It take about 3 to 4 hours hike inside the forest to enjoy 7 different levels waterfalls, the trail is about 2 km and was pretty reasonable hiking even for children, it is almost completely non-technical and almost paved through the falls, it was A wonderful time to experience the uniqueness of naturel. #thailandtrip Absolutely astonishing place! Waterfalls are beautiful and calming. The best thing though is swimming in the pools beneath. The water is warm and clear so you can stand under this gigantic shower forever. Unfortunately you have to rent and wear a life-jacket in the pools - safety first... In some pools small fish will even invite you to fish spa :) It's worth visiting it as early as you can. We spent there half a day and the tourists were coming and coming.

#wheretogo Erawan Falls is located at the east side of the park we were joining a tour to explore Erawan National park for a day. first thing first please have you comfort wear before going to the park and get a new clothes with you to change after the activity if you decided to go in to the waterfall . we were surprise by the waterfall and the overall view it was amazing and clear water infront of you. everything here was great and surround bu the nature . Try this activity if you are in Bangkok. I have booked a day trip to Erawan National Park. One way there took about 4 hours. Including return journey would be about a day. Hence, need to set aside one day for this activity. There were a few eateries near the entrance of the National Park for those who want to have their lunch before the hike and ice cream after that. The hike took about 45 minutes to an hour for 2km. Terrain was tracks with rocks, muds and stairways. Reward yourself with a dip in the pool with cool and clear water. Or dip your feet into the water after the climb to cool down. Breathtaking views of the waterfalls at various levels. This activity is suitable for teens and adults. Do note that water bottle not allowed in the National Park. So hide it in your bag. #nationalpark Enjoy!
