There has 7 levels of waterfall, the distances between are from 10 metres up to 1,550 metres. It was quite easy hiking in the forest trails to reach the 7 waterfalls. The park is generally quite busy every day and very busy during the week-end and public holidays. My local friend drove me there, it's about 70 km from the city centre and taken 1.15 hours drives. We came here in the early morning of weekday as there was not many visitors around. Be take noted that need to pay 20 Thb deposit for bringing water bottle and food, it could redeemed back if you have been brought back the empty water bottles, plastic bags & containers. That was helping out to keep a clean natural environment. The waterfalls were absolutely stunning, I'm truly impressed by the scenic natural landscape along the trails. The water was clear & refreshing, perfect for swimming and taking cool photos. Luck comes with rain. Wherever you go, it rains there. It's true. 5555 This time it happened again at Erawan Waterfall, Kanchanaburi Province. Even though it was raining, the waterfall was still beautiful. There are 7 levels of the waterfall. The rain made it possible to go up to level 5 and not walk any further. The places to go down to swim are levels 1-3 and everyone who goes down to swim must wear a life jacket. Rent a car from Thailand to North Peacock, the journey is about two and a half hours, the first stop by Death Railway train, the driver waits at the third stop, get off and picked up by the driver to go to the Kwai Bridge to watch the sunset and take pictures; Waterfall, 9 o'clock departure, an hour drive, walk up the seventh level of waterfall, walk slowly, take pictures so, takes about two hours, walk and play, very relaxing, d water very comfortable; Temple wat ban tham and Longshan Temple, via MEENA cafe to take a picture, then back to Bangkok, the itinerary can be decided by yourself, do not want to be so hard, this itinerary route has history, scenery, and photo spots are quite good.

Kanchanaburi has many historical sites to visit, including the famous Death Railway and Erawan Falls, etc. and the newest attraction, Maple Gardens. We were amazed by how large these bottle gourds are. The admission fee is 120 Thb per person. You can enjoy the beautiful flowers and Longgan trees, you can also eat longgan inside for free! Getting there: We took the bis from Bangkok for 3 hours to Kanchanaburi and rented a scooter there to drive 2 hours to the Erawan Waterfalls. You can also get on the bus for 60 baht every hour but then you dont have the chance to stop along the way or even go to the Phratat Cave which is a hidden gem and included in the ticketproce of 300 baht. Erawan falls are an unmissable stop if you are in Kanchanaburi. Get on a bus from Kanchanaburi (1hour bus ride) and spend the day at the fall. there are 7 levels of waterfall. lifejacket are (unfortunately) compulsory If you want to get in the water to rent one on the bottom of the falls. quite busy in week ends, less crowded during the week. The waterfall is located inside Erawan National Park and charges of 300 Thai baht is implied per adult foreigners. There are seven tiers of waterfalls and the hike was kinda tiring with steep steps, we only managed to hike to level 4 of the waterfalls but the view was amazing! Love the emerald green colours of the fall, and that it is so huge that visitors can just jump in! Also, love that visitors can enjoy the waterfalls and the safety jackets are available for rental! Would recommend visiting this majestic and beautiful waterfall while in Kanchanaburi!

#weekendgetaways Erawan Falls would make a good weekend retreat when you’re at Kanchanaburi. If you do not plan to drive or ride a bike, you can board the bus from Kanchanaburi bus station at THB 60 per 1-way trip, which I have included the bus schedule (in the photo reel) as at May 2024. You can spend minimally 2 hours ascending the different levels of the waterfall and enjoy the different views. Do budget more time if you plan to swim and/or let the fish nibble your weary feet. A point to share is the Park officials would require you to rent a life jacket before dipping into the waters, as part of safety reasons. We like this getaway because not only we get close to nature but enjoy the cool waters. Do also time your trip not to be close to the driest season, else there would not be much water to be seen.

Erawan National Park is located in West Thailand - Kachanaburi Province. It’s easily accessible by public bus from Kachanaburi. If you’re starting your way from Bangkok like myself - it’s 220km away and around 3 and a half hours drive. There are plenty of private tours running daily from Bangkok to Erawan. The day tour costs anywhere between 1500-2500 Thai Baht per person. The tour that I chose include visiting The Death Railway, The Bridge over Kwai River. And also JEATH MUSEUM. The waterfall itself is definitely highlight of the tour. It’s 7 tiered - you have to trek/ hike up to get to the very top tier. No shorcuts - but definitely worth doing. Every tier has its own vibe. One or two of the tiers are legit look like emerald green ponds. I’ve never seen waterfall THAT GREEN before and it’s indeed very inviting. I’m quite sad that on that day we arrived quite late to the waterfall and we couldn’t spend as much time because of the closing time. So if you’re going from Bangkok: definitely choose tour program that doesn’t put too much side itineraries and rather focusing more in the National Park Itself. Last but not least - remember, if you managed to get to the 7th tier: YOU ARE THE CONQUEROR! Happy travelling! 💕

#dreamvoyage My trip to Erawan Waterfall was like a natural spa day! As we dipped our feet into the crystal-clear water, tiny fish swarmed around, gently sucking and nibbling on our toes. It tickled at first, but soon it felt relaxing, like a soothing massage. The water was so clear, we could see all the fish swimming around us. It was like being in a tropical paradise!

The waterfalls at Erawan are absolutely incredible. So many tiers, so much beauty and plenty of beautiful trails too. While the waterfalls are known for having seven tiers, there are plenty of smaller cascades along the route too.Theres tons of fishes that will bite your toes but its not that harmful i was scared to be honest but later it felt like i was a mermaid swimming with the fishes.I pay 20 baht for the vest they wont allow anyone not to wear it for safety of everyone. U can also try their milktea and they have a souvenir shop i bought a elephant shirt 200 baht and shorts for 100 baht it is so cheap there than the other shops that i have been.#Bangkok #Erawanfalls

this emerald green waterfall is located 4 hours ride northwest of Bangkok. it’s up in the mountains and has 7 levels of waterfall that you can jump in and swim with the huge fish who comes to you like a dog for you to pet on. each waterfall is unique and we love waterfall level 2 the best. entry fee is 300 baht for adult which has reasonably clean bathroom for you to change.
