[2025 Oslo Attraction] Travel Guide for Ekebergparken (Updated May)

Ekebergparken overlooking Oslo is a 25 acre park consisting of 31 sculptures and breathtaking views over the Oslo fjord , artists with work here include Salvador Dali , Gustav Vigeland and Pierre -Auguste Renoir to name a few .. The park is open all year round and also has a museum , gift shop and restaurant . It’s well worth a visit if your in Oslo , some lovely walks and views and it’s not too far from Oslo central station , you can also get the 34/74 bus and 13/19 Trams to ekebergparken

First time in Norway, very impressed, good atmosphere, fresh and delicious salmon, convenient transportation, many tourist attractions. When I came, it was dark in the morning but the sun was a bit too strong. 👍#trip

Ekeberg Park is about 15 minutes by tram or 30 minutes on foot from Oslo Station. It's a park that is popular not only with tourists but also with locals. It's surrounded by forest paths, and I saw people walking their dogs and other activities. In my impression, it was also a hidden spot where you can experience the feeling of living in Oslo. It was wonderful to be able to see the port and fjord around the Opera House. The Ekeberg Museum is a cute museum that looks like a white villa at the entrance of Ekeberg Park! The first floor exhibits the history of Ekeberg, and the second floor exhibits nature and paintings of the Ekeberg region! Unlike large museums, it was a small museum with cute decorations, but it was well organized and a good place to quietly look around :) There is a souvenir shop at the entrance on the first floor, so you can buy things or ask about a guided tour of the park! After visiting the museum, you can see statues, trees, and log houses in the Ekeberg Park outside. If you have time, I recommend taking a walk! When I went, it snowed a lot, so it felt even more like Norway, and it was very beautiful! Since it is famous for its beautiful scenery, it also has the advantage of being able to look down on Oslo from above! The higher you go from the museum to the restaurant, the better the view of Oslo!
