One of the Eight Scenic Spots in Taiwan #Baguashan Giant Buddha Scenic Area - Changhua County Changhua City
#MarchGoodPlaces2025
When thinking of Changhua, the first thing that comes to mind is the Baguashan Giant Buddha, which was once listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Taiwan. The landmark Buddha statue on Bagua Mountain was completed in 1961. Looking forward from the observation deck on the mountain, you can see the Lukang area and the Taiwan Strait as far as the eye can see. There is also a skywalk in the scenic area that was completed in July 2016, connecting other scenic spots in the north and south regions. The total length of the trail is 1,006 meters and the highest point is 16 meters. It was the longest skywalk in Taiwan at the time. This is also the location where Changhua holds the Lantern Festival every year. The archway trail, observation deck, and skywalk are all decorated with colorful lights, attracting many tourists to come and worship.
