Forget Sanya, Yantai is the place to be! A city inspired by a song.
Hey guys! 👋 Is there a song that makes you long for a coastal city, like a sea breeze with a salty tang? For me, it's the song "Yantai." The poetic lyrics, "The sea of Yantai is an open book, the tides come and go, full of stories. The mountains of Yantai are a silent tower, the clouds roll by, witnessing change," perfectly capture the charm of Yantai's mountains and sea. They made me curious about this city and eager to explore its allure. In February, I set off for Yantai with anticipation, embarking on a coastal journey. Check out my guide!
🌆 Yantai is located in the northeast of the Shandong Peninsula, facing the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea. It's a city that combines natural scenery and cultural history. Here, you'll find winding coastlines, beaches, and reefs; lush mountains and forests shrouded in mist; and ancient streets and alleys that bear the marks of time. In February, Yantai is still chilly, but the sea breeze and warm sun create a unique sense of tranquility and grandeur.
