wonderful weekend escape from the city at Double Tree Penang Hotel. smooth check in from the receptions , for free upgrade to seaview room by the receptionist . thank you so much 😊 staff are polite and professional they greet you all the way from lobby till you get into your room. the hospitality is perfect and I have two big cookies form front office too. the cookies was great . one you step into the room , king size bed with a clear seaview room clearly to be seen from the room. it was best healing trip. little surprise gift from the hotel too. it’s taste so great! breakfast was superb. you may wake up in the morning and enjoys great breakfast to kick start the morning. There are nearby attraction ;- 1. Enthopia - largest butterfly farm in Penang 2. Morning hike - near to the national park 3. Mural wall & Padi field near to Batu Ferengi 4. Night market at Batu Ferrengi One of the downside is you need to walk 5 mins to the beach from the bridge . There is no direct access to the beach . We stayed five nights at the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Penang. The hotel has restaurants, pools, and offers discounts to museums. The first night we took the overpass across the street and ended up right on the beach. There’s a small restaurant where we ate dinner and watched the sunset. 📍Double Tree Resort by Hilton Penang This time we stayed at a hotel close to Escape♪ It's a Hilton chain, but it wasn't too expensive and the room felt spacious😎 We were given chocolate chip cookies when we checked in🍪 They were super delicious🥰 There weren't many restaurants around the hotel, but there was a hidden delicious restaurant by the sea, so we all had breakfast there♪ 📍 Miami Cafe Beachfront The chicken curry naan is the most recommended dish at this restaurant and it was very delicious☺️ It's also about 30 minutes away from Georgetown, which is famous as a tourist destination, but our main focus was Escape, and the seaside bars and restaurants were close by, so it didn't feel like it was that inconvenient. Not perfectly but wonderful resort that you can stay, the workers are very nice and helpful, some more have welcome cookies for us when we check in quite lately at 11.40pm😅.. and also free upgrade room because full house on that day🫶🏻 Besides that, I’m not really suggest for the breakfast buffet because the taste of food is really normal (exclude bread), but you still can try it if you really eat a lot, price per person is S$20. You can’t go wrong, when opt to stay at the Hilton Group Hotel. Hilton Doubletree Resort Penang is located at the Batu Ferringhi, Penang. This resort is connected with the spotless and tranquil Ferringhi Beach (just few steps from the hotel). Overall, 5 stars accomodation and services throughout my stay. Very nice presentation of afternoon tea set provided by Doubletree Penang at this Axis lounge. This set includes 2 choices of drinks as well as the combination if savoury and sweet snacks and pastries. Price at below MYR100, for two persons, it is one of the cheapest afternoon set available via Hilton chain in Malaysia. #staycation I chose this hotel because of its excellent service and strategic location. Upon entrance, there was a staff member seeing me having problems with my handphone connection, he approached me and asked if I needed a Wi-fi connection. I was so touched by the helpful gesture. I also enjoyed the dining area very much, where the kids can play at the swimming pool, and adults can have some quiet time eating and chatting. The room was spacious with a nice sea view. We like the complimentary homemade giant cookies. There are shopping malls and restaurants nearby, and the beachfront is just next to the hotel. In the evening, we like to sit on the rock and admire the sunset view. Overall, a very pleasant staycation here. #penang

No words to describe the stay at Double tree by Hilton Penang. Sea view balcony rooms are spacious well furnished with all amenities. View from the balcony as bedroom is magical. Great spread in morning complementary breakfast. Other than the splash pool, there is a Teddy museum that will be fun and a unique experience for kids. The only downside is the hotel doesn't have its own private beach. Has to cross over the road via an overhead walkway. Additionally, it's a bit uphill and not many options for beach bars and nearby restaurants. No convenient stores nearby too. Check in was fast and they service ice lemonade at lobby. we were also given complimentary doubletree cookies! taste great!. Room was spacious and modern. bed was comfy and sofa bed can accommodate another pax. the sea view from room is priceless. the hotel also provides free shuttle to gurney which we made use of for a day trip and some mouth watering char kway teow!! ❤️Great resort, clean, friendly staffs, good view of Straits of Melaka.However please mind the location of this resort which is it's not by the beach. User need to to cross a flyover to the beach and the beach is full of rocks. ❤️Its located in between down town and Batu Ferringhi beach. You can only drive to these 2 locations. Even though with this minor inconvenience, the pool makes up for it. It's large and a pool bar is there for your tropical needs. They gave tasty soft chocolate cookies for each guest upon check in. The view from balcony was fantastic, can see the beach on my right hand side, and mountains on my left. King size bed was so comfy. But the room has no bath tub. Breakfast was decent, a bit rushing because very crowded. The staffs were very welcoming and helpful. It was surprised to see the cute Cookiesman at swimming pool. So much fun for taking pictures together. No direct beach access but there was a bridge which you can walk to the beach. Stairs quite steep, must be careful. Could be tough for elderly and other people of limited mobility. Rating: 4/5 #staycation #beachlife

Nice hotel close to Batu Ferringhi beach area. Hotel has a walkway to the beach. Near to the Batu Ferringhi night market which is only 5 minutes by taxi ride. Sea view balcony rooms have a nice view of the beach. Great amenities provided by the hotel including complimentary water bottle everytime when needed. Not very accessible by walking to any restaurants/shops but by taxi it is not very far. Taxis are cheap and convenient to get around to places.
