Me and my boyfriend visited Deer Park Heights twice, and we absolutely love this place! The stunning panoramic views of Queenstown and the surrounding mountains make it a breathtaking experience. The peaceful atmosphere and fresh air make it the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. One of the highlights of our visit was getting up close to the many adorable animals. We had the chance to feed deer, cattle, pigs, and ducks, which made the experience even more special. The animals roam freely, adding to the charm of this beautiful place. Another exciting aspect of Deer Park Heights is its connection to The Lord of the Rings! There are several filming locations from the movies, which makes it even more magical for fans. Keep in mind that entry is per vehicle only, and walking is not permitted. Bookings must be made online in advance, so be sure to plan ahead. #weekendgetaways During my recent trip to Queenstown, I visited Deer Park Heights, a scenic drive and animal encounter located 550 meters above the town. The 5 km self-drive route meanders through a working deer farm, offering breathtaking 360-degree views of Lake Wakatipu, The Remarkables mountain range, and the Whakatipu Basin. Along the way, I had the delightful opportunity to feed various animals, including deer, goats, alpacas, and donkeys. Pellets were available for purchase at the first stop, making it easy to interact with these friendly creatures. The combination of stunning vistas and hands-on animal experiences made Deer Park Heights a highlight of my New Zealand adventure. 

This deer park is really worth going to. You can see many animals here, such as deer, pigs, ducks, sheep, etc. The whole hill is full of animals, and the scenery is very beautiful. You can see the whole landscape of Queenstown. You have to go to their official website to order, and you can only go there by car. After successfully booking, you will receive a password.
