Quick escape in Dameisha! ❤️
Dameisha Waterfront park is located in Yantian district, Eastern side of the city of Shenzhen on the coast of South China Sea. Covering a total area of 360,000 square meters, of which the beach stretching in the middle is 180,000 square meters. Giant fairy-like figures (like 6 of them) are scattered on the park wherein local and foreign tourists find it appealing.
Either you wanna go swim in the beach, or do some watersports, barbeque, get elevated on the observatory pathway, more so try to reach the pinnacle on the Wish tower.
Also theres plenty of accomodation options for you (depending on your budget), and if you want to splurge on shopping, check out The Outlets.
Dameisha Waterfront park is OPEN TO PUBLIC, free of charge. Opening hours are 8am to 530pm.

I never imagine that I could find a place like this in China, a bit far from any big city in China but it's totally worth it coming here. A few people are on the beach so it's very relaxing and not common on a beach in China.

Shenzhen Dameisha offers direct metro access to a free beach and the sea
🎈You should always take a trip on the metro to the beach! Shenzhen's Line 2/8 takes you directly to Dameisha, and as soon as you exit the metro station, you can see the sea, which is incredibly romantic! Here comes a carefully organized Dameisha day trip guide, hoping it will be useful to everyone~
🌟Address: Dameisha, Shenzhen
🚇Transport: Dameisha Station Exit A of Metro Line 2/8
⏰Hours: 7:00-23:00
🌟1️⃣ Dameisha Metro Station:
This station is designed like a theme park! The artistic lamps, varying ceiling heights, colored skylights, and the wall art resembling a whale's mouth inside the station are all super fun and dreamy. Taking photos in the metro station is simply amazing!
🌟2️⃣ Sand Sculpture Exhibition → Iconic Buildings:
You can go to the beach to enjoy the sand sculpture exhibition, play in the sand, ride the mini train, and experience various water sports; then check in at Dameisha's iconic buildings, such as the Wishing Tower, Everlasting Rock, Angel Statue, Letter Boards, and more~
🌟3️⃣ Seaside Promenade:
Just walk a few minutes to the right from the park, and you'll reach the seaside promenade. Along the way, there are hiking trails, walkways, and viewing platforms. The waves crashing against the rocks are both spectacular and beautiful. The seaside promenade is a very romantic and dreamy place to watch the sea at Dameisha~
📷 Photo Spots:
👉 The coconut trees on Dameisha Beach are incredibly scenic and perfect for photography, giving you a feeling of being in Sanya~
👉 The popular swing at Dameisha, swinging by the sea is so comfortable, and it's also super photogenic~

The subway takes you straight to the sea in Shenzhen, always worth believing in!
The subway takes you straight to the sea in Shenzhen 🚇, always worth believing in!
Let's wait for a sunny weekend and go to the beach together! Walking here, taking photos, feeling the sea breeze, and watching the sunset can be very refreshing and healing. It can make you forget all your worries.
Dameisha has been my long-cherished place to view the sea. Here, you can find a beautiful sea view from the boardwalk, clean and fine sand, crystal clear water, and rocks...
📍Address: Dameisha Seaside Park, Yantian, Shenzhen
🎫Ticket: Free
🚇Transportation: Take the subway line 2/8 to Dameisha Station, exit A to arrive. Or drive to the Dameisha Seaside Park parking lot.
✅About the visit:
❶ The park's beach area is large, suitable for sand sliding, swimming, jet skiing, paragliding, etc. There are also snack stalls and supermarkets on the beach where you can buy water play props.
❷ If you walk to the right side of the park's beach, you will see the boardwalk built along the mountain and the sea. Here you can see the beautiful seascape. There are two boardwalks, upper and lower. The lower one allows you to observe the sea and rocks up close and is great for taking photos; the upper boardwalk offers a better view and is suitable for cycling, with mountains, sea, and trees providing shade, making photos even more beautiful.
✅ Tips:
1. Remember to check the weather in advance, it is recommended to go on a sunny day to capture the blue sea. The scenery can be much worse on cloudy days.
2. Take sun protection measures, as the UV rays at the beach are strong.
3. Remember to bring enough water to drink, as it is not easy to buy nearby. I especially brought the sugar-free tea endorsed by Yang Zi, which is thirst-quenching and photogenic. The light gardenia flavor makes one feel like they are in summer, very refreshing, making the trip even more enjoyable.

Shenzhen's last wave of phoenix flower season
Every early May, Shenzhen is the season when phoenix flowers bloom. The fiery red phoenix flowers paired with the lush green leaves, covering the entire tree, are really beautiful. This year's flowering season has arrived as scheduled, but the continuous heavy rain for two weeks has knocked down many flowers, and the phoenix flowers are not as dense and prosperous as in previous years. The best viewing spot is recommended to be the Ecological Plaza in Overseas Chinese Town, which still had quite a few flowers blooming the day before yesterday, and you could still take some nice pictures.

The seaside boardwalk is so stunning that it leaves people speechless
The seaside boardwalk is so stunning that it leaves people speechless‼️|||The subway is now open, providing direct access to the beach.
It's so convenient, how could you miss out on this sea?
Today, I took a route that is suitable for both walking and cycling 🉑️
It's fantastic and very relaxing.
Perfect for a family outing~
🌟My route (photo-taking spots marked at the end)
Starting point: 🚇Subway Line 8: Yantian Market B Exit
Ending point: 🚇Subway Line 8: Dameisha Station
Duration: 2 hours (with stops for walking and taking photos)
Details about the starting point:
Two minutes straight from the Yantian Market subway station B exit, you'll reach the seaside boardwalk, which leads all the way to Dameisha Station. There's a small section under construction, but it's great for cycling, though it's quite a workout. Don't miss this part if you love cycling! There are also shared bikes 🚴 available right out of the subway station, which is very convenient~
Every time I take my child out, it's all about taking photos, and my phone runs out of battery in no time. The new ROMOSS magnetic power bank I got, with 10000mAh, is small and easy to carry. The best part is the magnetic feature, which is amazing with a 14N strong magnetic force for attachment, just stick it on to charge, it's super convenient. It can also charge two devices at the same time, and it's stylish too!
🔆Yantian Market Station (Nearby check-in spot: Yandunshan Park)
🔆Dameisha Station (Nearby check-in spot: Dameisha No.8 Warehouse)
The European-style town is also great for walking with kids, you can feed black swans, and there's a discount village and various photo spots.

Shenzhen's Dameisha's "Azure Seascape"
⛳️Location: Dameisha, Yantian District, Shenzhen💰Seaside Park Admission: Free
🚝Transport: Take the A1 exit at Yantian Port West Station on Metro Line 8, then transfer to bus M196 and get off at "Seaside Bathing Beach Station".
✅1. To see the sea, you must choose a sunny day, so you can see the blue ocean and it's easier to take good photos. So be sure to check the weather forecast before you go out.
✅2. There are few shelters by the seaside, and it's not very convenient to use an umbrella for sun protection (especially when there's a strong sea breeze), so it's recommended to bring sun protection clothing, hats, and do a good job with sunscreen, otherwise getting tanned is no joke.
✅3. There are water sports such as jet skiing and flyboarding available at Dameisha, don't forget to bring your swimsuit/change of clothes if you want to play~
✅4. It's advised to bring your own food and water, although there are kiosks in Dameisha Park, they are not cheap

The Spring Sea at Shenzhen Dameisha
After several years, I returned to Dameisha and found many new roads, shops, and hotels. The once glorious Yalan Hotel now shows signs of wear, with only the relentless waves echoing permanently.
To catch the sunrise at 6:30 am, I headed to the beach, where a vast outlet town surrounded the entire beachfront. The calm morning waters reflected the coconut trees, arch bridges, eaves, and European-style rooftops in their slumber. Two men with blank stares walked down a street covered in English words, with brands like GUCCI, PRADA, BURBERRY, DOLCE&GABBANA, CK Jeans, until they reached the top of a rainbow staircase that bore a Chinese sign reading 'Elegant Garden'. Around a corner, I encountered the Angel's Wings, where an old man stood reluctantly, witnessing a romantic confession. A joyful goddess with wings and a lyre led two walking stallions, and a sea of roses cascaded down from the second floor, where we diligently searched for our rare and familiar characters.
The tall Wish Tower served as my guide, but I couldn't get close. Security guards shouted and chased away anyone nearing the beach. A small path of plaza bricks became the red line between people and the sea; I was on one side, the sea on the other. The guards said we could enter at 7 am.
A sandpile announced the Second Dameisha Sand Sculpture Festival, featuring the Hulk, Shrek's Seven Monsters, Little Dance Tang San, SpongeBob, and the Mermaid. Mythology ultimately lost to Toy Story.
Under a gloomy sky, the sea appeared somewhat eerie green, with white foam washing onto the dark yellow sand. Children began to play in the sand, and girls with long hair faced the wind on Dameisha's beach. Those brave enough to swim in this weather were truly audacious. And there were the colorful winged people from my memories, poised as if to take flight from the sand.
As the sun struggled to rise through the haze, more people arrived on the beach, and it was time for me to leave.
When I saw the Eighty Steps Sea Residence, a black swan on the lake halted my steps.
🗾Location: Yantian District, Yanmei Road
🚗Transportation: Accessible by self-driving (many parking lots), subway, or bus.
🎫Tickets: The beach park is free, but the Wish Tower and sea activities require tickets.
👣Touring: Shenzhen's public venue is surrounded by mountains on three sides and faces the sea, boasting a long, high-quality sandy beach and a nearly 500-meter-long Sunshine Corridor. On the east side of the Sun Plaza, there is an 80-meter-tall Wish Tower, from which you can gaze at the undulating waves of Dapeng Bay. The park is divided into swimming, sports, barbecue (only open in summer), and entertainment areas. For those who enjoy sports, there are beach buggies, jet skiing, surfing, paddleboarding, and other water activities.
🧸Currently, the second Dameisha Sand Sculpture Festival is underway, creating a kingdom of animation on the beach. It is sure to be a favorite among children.

Shenzhen Yantian Trail Guide
Solo cycling! Regret coming late!
🚇Exit B of Yantian Market subway station
🚴Find a shared bike and start off. There are no parking spots later on
The route is 4km/2h for cycling and taking photos: Yantian Seafood Street - Yantian Greenway - Dameisha Post Station - Dameisha Seaside Park
.
Since it's a cycling trip, start from Yantian Market subway station
However, there isn't much of a seaside view all the way to Dameisha Post Station
It's all construction sites, and there are parts where you have to push your bike uphill
.
From Dameisha Post Station (bus stop) onwards, it's beautiful because I didn't go down to the trail below while cycling
You will pass two trail entrances
1️⃣The entrance with flowers p6
2️⃣The pure white railing p10
.
The downhill part later on is very exhilarating, and there aren't many people on weekdays
You can park your bike at the entrance of Dameisha Seaside Park
Walk on the beach, lie down for a while, the sand is so fine! Different from Dalian
There are lockers, foot washing pools, storage cylinders, and restrooms
When leaving, 🚇the subway is right at the park entrance!
Return trip from Dameisha Station
.
⚠️Sun protection, mosquito repellent!!
Instead of always planning and looking for someone to accompany you,
It's also very enjoyable to just set off on your own

🌟Highlights:
1⃣️Exit from Entrance A to find the sand sculpture display area, with some activities available, such as riding a mini train; then walk forward to reach the sea, this area is also close to the shopping and dining area by the seaside (not recommended to eat here); 2⃣️Exit from Entrance B, straight ahead is the Wishing Tower, which is quite average and not very impressive, to the right is the observation deck, where you can take a walk and feel the atmosphere. Going down leads to the shower room and foot-washing area, and further ahead is the beach and the sea, which is quite crowded. Walking to the left, there are fewer people! 3⃣️Exiting from Entrance C, which is actually next to Entrance B, there are many dining options, such as McDonald's, popular pigeon restaurants, etc. Walking forward and turning left leads to the No. 8 Outlet Warehouse, which is actually a large park area. The popular Strawberry Bear check-in spot is inside, but now it has faded a bit, and some residents also hang their clothes there, so it's not very photogenic. However, opposite it, there's a popular rose wall, and many people queue up to take photos.
📌Little Tips: Consider bringing a camping mat to enjoy sunbathing there!

Travel to Shenzhen by bus go!
Follow the bus for a trip | The sightseeing line you must take in Shenzhen.
I used to love taking the bus on weekends to see the cityscape.
Compared to the subway, you can see much more beautiful scenery.
🚌 My favorite bus route is M191 (formerly known as Sightseeing Line 1).
One of the few double-decker sightseeing buses in Shenzhen.
It is also the only route that covers the entire Shennan Avenue.
Crossing Bao'an, Nanshan, Futian, Luohu, and Yantian, the 5 major districts.
Wearing headphones and sitting on the second floor of the bus.
All the way from the city to the seaside.
It makes one's mood involuntarily cheerful.
If you come to Shenzhen for a trip.
You can try it!
·
🗺️ Route: Bao'an Bus Terminal ➡️ Dameisha Bus Terminal.
📍 Stops: See map 18.
🎫 Ticket: You can use your phone to scan the 'ride code' or Shenzhen Tong when boarding, and scan again when alighting to settle the fare. The cost is calculated in segments, with prices ranging from 2-10 yuan. It cost us 5 yuan to go from Window of the World to Dameisha!
·
💁♀️ A personal favorite route of mine, where you can see Shenzhen's storied landmarks, major tourist attractions, and the azure sea:
Window of the World 👉 Shenzhen Avenue 👉 Overseas Chinese Town 👉 Civic Center 👉 Ping An Finance Centre 👉 Grand Theater, KK100, Diwang Building 👉 Yantian Port 👉 Dameisha Seaside Plank Road
·
🌈 There are over 20 attractions along the entire route. If you want to experience Shenzhen in a short time, I recommend M191!

Dameisha
Shenzhen beach|| Record the beach in the photo, want to go again after going
Subway can reach directly:
1️⃣Hai Shan: Walk along the seaside plank road, you can see Yantian Port, rest day and two or three friends, leisurely stroll, very comfortable, nearby there is a lighthouse library and business circle, as well as leisure square
2️⃣Dameisha: The beach in the childhood memory of Shenzhen people, playing with sand, chasing waves, now built very well, the plank road is very photogenic, there are also outlets around
3️⃣Xiaomeisha: Currently still under modification, but the plank road of Bei Zi Jiao Lighthouse is worth a visit, very beautiful, glass sea, jelly sea are satisfied at once, you can see the sunset and Yantian Port
4️⃣Shenzhen Bay: A place where many people will go, you can see the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Hong Kong across the sea, nearby is Happy Coast, there seems to be a fountain at night, there are many activities there, by the way, the Xicha there has cake, two in the country (Shenzhen, Guangzhou)
Subway can't reach directly:
1️⃣Astronomical Observatory: It is indeed a place with several titles, really beautiful, super photogenic, even if you don't take pictures, the scenery is super comfortable to watch, it is recommended to drive by yourself, need to make an appointment (bus can reach, self-driving is more convenient)
2️⃣Jiaowei Field: A good choice for watching the sunset, there are many homestays nearby, you can walk around after dinner, very suitable for vacation. (Bus can reach)
Jiaowei Field is just across the road from Dapeng Suocheng, it is worth walking around with a normal heart, it has a lot of historical flavor.
Straight from the east gate of Suocheng, there is Dongshan Temple, the architecture is quite special, I like the color matching very much, it is very suitable for taking ancient style photos. There is a small road in the bell tower of the temple that takes about 15-20 minutes to the top of the mountain, where you can overlook Dapeng Suocheng and Jiaowei Field, the scenery is quite good, there are small pavilions on the way, where you can rest.
If you climb the mountain, don't leave trash, take it down the mountain yourself.
The sea near the Nuclear Power Station bus stop can watch the sunrise, pick up shells, and there is a flower sea camping site nearby
3️⃣Yougan Bay: My favorite beach, a bit off the beaten path, but every step is a breathtaking view, there are several places to check in and take photos, and there is a small path along the coastline, the gradient sea, breeze, bird song, green trees, waves, the summer view is too refreshing. You can arrive at four o'clock, take some photos, and then watch the sunset.
The only downside, a bit off the beaten path, and only hotel guests can drive down to the beach, tourists have to walk or take a private car there (remember to bargain) to get there, about 1-2 kilometers, there is a small section that is quite shaky. There is a restaurant and water bar, the price is a bit expensive, it is recommended to bring your own food, and pay attention to sun protection.
It seems that it is currently under modification and cannot be entered.
4️⃣Chaxi Valley Small Train: Part of the Eastern Overseas Chinese Town, you can take it directly, I saw a mountain full of camellia when I went to the beginning of the eleventh, the environment is very quiet, if you go, you can bring some bread that pigeons can eat, you will meet a group of pigeons in the square. (Bus can reach, 15 yuan per person, it is recommended to drive by yourself)
Nearby attractions also include Yunhai Square.

Indeed, the best time to see the ocean is on a clear sunny day
The ocean is a symbol of freedom; its vastness inspires awe, and its deep blue color sets our hearts and minds adrift.
Everyone has an ocean in their heart, a sea filled with hope and dreams. Everyone has an ocean in their heart, a sea filled with hope and dreams.
The entire blue palette is so healing, and when tired, one can rest under the trees.
The sea breeze is very comfortable in this weather, but remember to protect yourself from the sun.
🚇 Take the subway line 2/8 to Damesha Station Exit A to go directly to the seaside.

Dameisha Wind and Waves Camp - Enjoy a leisurely camping trip
Ever since Dameisha opened its subway, it has been so convenient to go see the sea!
The Wind and Waves Camp is a place where you can relax and enjoy to the fullest. There are also various delicious snacks, starry sky barbecues, and there are irregular live singing performances at certain times, bringing you more entertainment enjoyment.
Dameisha Wind and Waves Camp is also a great place to escape the busy city.
You can come here with friends to surf,
fully enjoy the holiday revelry and hold various types of gatherings, including marriage proposals, birthday parties, and team-building events.

Stepping out of the metro, you'll be greeted by the romantic sight of the sea and the beach! 💕
With the opening of the metro, there are even more places to visit in Shenzhen during the weekend!

And 9 great photo spots~
📌Location
Dameisha Seaside Park
Take Metro Line 2/8 to Dameisha Station, Exit A
🎫Cost:
No admission fee! It's free! 😊
🗺️Tour Route:
Dameisha Metro Exit A → Beach Cactus → Seaside Plank Road, climb up the hill at the end → Walk back along the cycling path, the end is the Seaside Corner Plank Road → Outlets for photos + meal and rest → Return trip
⛰️Scenery Introduction: (See the map at the end for specific locations ❤️)
1️⃣Seaside Plank Road
❗Spot 1: At the end of the Seaside Plank Road, take a photo towards the plank road from the uphill path, with the sea behind and reefs below, super romantic!
❗Spot 2: On the Seaside Plank Road, you can see the protruding viewing platform, take a clean shot of the sea surface at the corner.
❗Spot 3: At the same spot, you can take a group photo with the reefs (just that there might be a lot of people 🥲)
⚠️Because of the mountain, there's no sunlight after 4 pm, so it's recommended to go early!
2️⃣Seaside Corner Plank Road (There are fewer people here!)
❗Spot 4: There are two corners here where you can take photos with the sea, no need for a telephoto lens!
❗Spot 5: Capture the stairs, you can take a photo of the sea and the city.
3️⃣Beach Cactus
❗Spot 6: They are everywhere after exiting the metro, the beach near the plank road has fewer people!
4️⃣Dameisha No.8 Warehouse Outlets
❗Spot 7: Opposite Burger King, a very cartoonish wall! There are pink, yellow, and blue~
❗Spot 8: Next to Wacoal, there's a blue staircase. (😂The wall above the toilet is also cute)
❗Spot 9: Next to No.8, on the way to the northeast gate, there's a macaron claw machine, super photogenic!

Some shots require a telephoto lens

Fuji X100v: P10/11/12

🎈Conclusion
Although Dameisha is crowded, the infrastructure is really good,
There are several rows of free foot-washing faucets, shower facilities, changing rooms, etc.
The scenery is also very good, I personally recommend coming in winter,
There should be fewer people, and the weather is not so hot,
Hope this guide is useful to you, have fun!
