#TravelRecordsAsia Dalseong Park is said to be the remains of an earthen fortress built during the Three Kingdoms period. I entered through the back gate by climbing the bank, which is said to be an earthen wall. It is said to be about 10m high in some places. In the vast park, there is a tower (Gwanpung-ro) designated as a cultural asset, a history and culture museum, a grassy park, and a zoo. The zoo is surprisingly authentic! And it's free! ️ A playground modeled after an earthen fortress has been built near the back gate, and I was lucky to be able to witness the unveiling ceremony. My sister-in-law.. I often come down to Daegu, so I was worried about where to go, but I went to Dalseong Park, which I had never been to before.. It has free admission, a pretty zoo, and a pretty view of the park.. There is also a luggage storage, so it was very convenient. I think I will go there a few more times in the future.

If you are looking for a place to view flowers near Daegu, visit Okyeonji Songhae Park where you can see forsythia, cherry blossoms, tulips, and a wide lake. When I visited, the cherry blossoms and tulips were not in full bloom yet, but they will be in full bloom on April 7th of this week. If you haven't been to see the flowers yet, go to Songhae Park~

Since it's on a mountain, the view is incredibly beautiful! Juri485 is pretty in every season, but now it's decorated with a Christmas atmosphere for winter ❄️

Dalseong Park is located about 10 minutes away on foot from Seomun Market. When you visit Daegu, it's good to go to Seomun Market and then Dalseong Park. Plus, it's free admission! If you look at the Dalseong Park map, there's a zoo with deer, seals, bears, elephants, lions, tigers, etc. in a large frame. The middle is a park where you can take a walk. I didn't expect much because it's free, but there are more animals than I thought, and there's also a space for a picnic inside. It seems like a good place to spread out a mat and eat kimbap.
