DalyeonJip is a traditional restaurant located in Jongno that sells many dishes that are perfect for rainy days, such as Sagol Kalguksu, Raw Cabbage Bossam, and Pajeon. It's a real restaurant.
It has an old-fashioned atmosphere and interior design that certifies its traditionality, and although many people visit, the turnover rate is really fast because the owner systematically controls it.
We ordered raw cabbage bossam (small) and a bowl of sagol kalguksu, and if two people order one kalguksu, they split it in half, which made it even easier to eat. The sagol kalguksu was impressive with its refreshing and really rich broth.
The raw cabbage bossam was fantastic because it was thick and chewy, and the crunchy cabbage went really well with the kalguksu, which was the best combination.
It was a rainy day when I went, and most of the menus sold are foods that go well with rainy days, so I think I visit it more on rainy days. If you come to Seoul, I recommend you visit Dalianjip, a real restaurant for kalguksu & bossam in Jongno near Cheonggyecheon :)
