Hidden Island Tour ~ Ji'ao 😍
After leaving Duck Chau by boat, the second stop is this small island of Ji O, which is even more beautiful than Duck Chau😍. The area of Ji O is much larger than that of Duck Chau, and even larger than Cheung Chau. However, there are not many places to visit. Let me introduce you to the attractions worth visiting in Ji O one by one🤗
So what is special about Ji O 😉?
1. Tung O Bay 🏝️ (a beach with water quality comparable to Sai Kung's Dalang Four Bays 🏝️, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Tung O Bay at high altitude by walking along the top of the shed for 10-15 minutes 😚, friends who like to play in the water can consider coming over in the summer to play games with the sunshine 🌞)
2. High shed roof (One of the high points of Ji O, but I think the high shed top is the highest value for money, and see the most beautiful views of the place, come to Ji O the first time must come to the high shed top, first will see the just introduced East O Bay, up to the highest point can also see the most beautiful place in Ji O - Macau Back Pond😍, surrounded by mountains plus the calm sea of In Chau Pond, really like a foreign crater lake🗻, the other side of the high shed roof can enjoy the entire fishing village🛶 style, plus the entire high shed roof hiking trail is yellow fence, really very foreign feel😌)
3. O Back Pond 🏞️ (After seeing O Back Pond from high altitude, you can also feel the simplicity and tranquility of O Back Pond up close, while feeling the power of Double Haven, a natural haven😯)
4. The style of the former fishing village (more than 10,000 fishermen lived in Ji O in its heyday, so walking into the streets and alleys of Ji O, it is not difficult to find that the buildings retain the style of the former fishing village. As for what buildings are worth taking pictures, leave it to you to discover 😉)
5. Marriage Tree💞 (A century-old marriage tree by the seaside of Ji O Avenue 🌳, its special feature is that the trunk is horizontal 😆, be careful when taking pictures with it 😉)
6. Ji O Ancient Well (one of the attractions introduced by the pier water sign, but actually just a hexagonal well, seems to be cheated 😂, but so far waterway came when to visit it 🤣)
7. Highland Peak (another high point in Ji O, I think it is not as worth going to the High Shed Peak 🤔, mainly looking back at the view of Salt Lake Harbor area, and the scenery of Duck Chau is roughly the same, so Highland Peak can stay at the end of the time to go ok😚)
8. Signature hand-made squid balls 🐙 (Yi Min Restaurant's signature dish, once you get off the boat everyone will line up to buy squid balls to eat, so you can first go up to the top of the high shed and turn a circle back to eat squid balls, the queue is gone ga la😆)
Transportation: There is only one way to get to Yau Chau and Ji O, which is to take the street ferry from Ma Yau Wai Pier⛴️, and there are only two boats at 9am on Saturdays and Sundays. I boarded the boat at 8:15 on the day I went there, and the first boat departed at 8:30, so even those who bought tickets must arrive at Ma Yau Wai Pier 45 minutes in advance🙈)
