New York | Coney Island Amusement Park Guide
| Coney Island Amusement Park Guide. Enjoy the last bit of summer in New York and soak up the sun ☀️
Coney Island is a century-old amusement park by the sea in Brooklyn 🎡
Highly recommend checking it out. It's a great place to take photos, and there are both thrilling and romantic rides, as well as the sea and beach 🏖️
🎢Tickets: You don't need a ticket to take photos or stroll around, only to go on rides. There are two parks on either side. If you like thrilling rides, I highly recommend buying a Lunar Park wristband, which costs $75 and lets you go on any ride. There are basically no lines, so you can have a blast.
Wonder Wheel is more suitable for children, with gentler rides. You can also buy tickets for individual rides, and there are many ticket booths on site.
Some rides have free lockers, but for others, you can just leave your things on the ground.
🎢Transportation: You can take the D, F, N, or Q subway for about an hour, or drive from Manhattan for 45 minutes. The address is 1000 Surf Ave, Brooklyn, NY. I recommend taking the subway!
🎢What to wear: You should definitely wear something retro, and a film camera would be perfect. If you plan to go on rides, pants are better. The whole day feels like a dream, like you're in the 80s 🚂
🎢Note: The park's opening hours vary each year, so be sure to check before you go. Have fun❗️
