It was a very pleasant experience to stay at the Clarisse GL Derby Hotel in the heart of Barcelona. The hotel is located on Pau Claris Street, just a few minutes' walk from the lively Passeig de Gràcia Avenue. There is also Passeig de Gràcia Metro Station nearby, making transportation very convenient. The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants. The hotel is elegantly decorated and full of artistic atmosphere. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. We arrived early but they checked us in right away with a welcome glass of champagne. While waiting for our room to be ready, we enjoyed a cold cocktail on the rooftop terrace bar, which was the perfect start to our holiday 🌺. The room was great, plenty of space and comfortable beds. The bedding is also high-end, soft and comfortable to the touch. The room is fully equipped with mini bar, hairdryer, safe and ironing facilities. There are also many thoughtful little touches, such as premium toiletries and complimentary bottled water. We stayed in a room facing the street, the environment was very quiet and did not disturb our rest at all. Recommended nearby attractions include Sagrada Familia and Casa Batlló. The Sagrada Familia can be said to be a landmark building in Barcelona. If you haven't been there, it's like you haven't been to Barcelona. Casa Batlló is also a representative work of Gaudi, with both its exterior and interior being dreamlike. There is also Casa Mila, where you can overlook the entire city from the rooftop terrace, with a magnificent view. Of course, no hotel is perfect. The only minor drawback may be that the prices around the hotel are a bit high, and you may need to spend a little more money when shopping and dining. However, after enjoying the perfect service of Clarice Hotel, I feel it is all worth it 🥂. All in all, this stay was great, comfortable and enjoyable. If you want to go to the beach, it takes about 10-15 minutes to get there by taxi, and it doesn’t cost much. When we arrived at the Clarisse we were greeted with a warm welcome and a glass of champagne which was a really nice touch. The front desk staff was super friendly and helped us with any needs we had. The hotel is stylishly decorated and displays archaeological artifacts. It has two restaurants, a bar, meeting rooms, a cafe, an outdoor pool and a gym. The overall feeling is very high-end. The room experience is also excellent. We were upgraded to a suite which was plenty of space, with a mini bar, safe, hairdryer and ironing facilities, and air conditioning. The room is fully equipped and even provides toiletries. The hotel thoughtfully prepared free Spanish sparkling wine and chocolate strawberries for us, which was so touching. The pool and sun beds at the terrace bar were great and the wait staff were super friendly. We had a great time on the balcony with perfect service and drinks. The location of the hotel is really great and we were able to walk to all the main sights. The Sagrada Familia, Gaudí's Casa Batlló and Casa Milà are all nearby. The Sagrada Familia is definitely a must-see, every inch of detail is amazing⛪️. Casa Batlló has a unique appearance and the dragon scale design on the roof is very magical. The spectacular stone architecture of Casa Mila makes people feel as if they are walking into a huge wave, which is very shocking. There are also many restaurant options in the surrounding area, such as Fervor, Artéteca Pizzeria Napoletana, Vrutal, Desoriente and BelleBuon, which are all worth a try.
