Very suitable for shopping till you drop because you don't have to leave the mall to go back to your room. Rooms have comforts such as a safe, an ironing set and a work desk. Also provided with a hair dryer, bathroom amenities and a drying unit. l always shop at Mid Valley Megamall during festive season as there are so many shops and choices. However, end of the day l always miss out something and have to go back for second trip. This time l decided to stay overnight at Cititel Mid Valley in order to maximize my shopping time and still l could get a good rest. Booked for a superior twin on 10 December 2022. l arrived at about 2 pm and still the room was not ready. The front desk would call me when the room ready but never. l ended up queuing for third time to get my room card. No room deposit required. Room was quite small with hardly any place to move around. Luckily, the room was clean and with full room amenities like toothbrush, bath soap, mini fridge, kettle, iron, and face towel. Checked-out was fast as l just dropped the room cards into box provided at the reception. Please don't go for massage located at the lobby level. Reception service was bad as they had already too many customers and not bother to serve you. Massage service was below average and noisy. #staycation

#Sign up for hotel test sleeper I went to Kuala Lumpur in early February and stayed at Cititel Mid Valley Hotel. The hotel is in a very convenient location. The rooms are not big, but very clean and comfortable. The hotel's basement lobby is connected to a large shopping mall. There are Aeon and local brand supermarkets in the shopping mall, as well as many restaurants. There are local and international cuisines. Whether it is clothes, shoes, socks, or boutique souvenir shops, there are countless choices, and the prices are cheap and good. Most shops are open until 10 pm. Kuala Lumpur International Airport and KLIA2 are only an hour's drive from the hotel, and only 28 minutes from Kuala Lumpur Central Plaza. The spacious bathroom together with a long bathtub is all that we need for a comfortable shower. The room has been recently renovated. The new television is huge with a size of 50 inches which is great for watching shows. Channels such as the love nature and channel news Asia can be found there. The deluxe room is located at level 26 to 28 floors. The lower floor would be their superior room which is half the size and does not come with a bathtub in the bathroom. It's too big to go around in a day! There are Japanese restaurants and Daiso. It's open until 22:00, so you can shop at night. MR DIY is super cheap! It's cheaper than a 100 yen shop! They sell a lot of miscellaneous goods like the ones sold at Scene. Daiso is on the third floor, but I couldn't find it... There's an Aeon on the G floor of the shopping mall. Of course, you can use your Aeon card, so don't forget to bring it if you have one⭐️ The pharmacy sells medicines cheaper than in Japan, so you can rest assured even when you're in trouble. #KualaLumpur #MidValley

Highlights: The Cititel Mid Valley is just located above the famous Mid Valley shopping complex. There are so many shops in Mid Valley with so many choices for food and drinks that I do not actually need to go somewhere else to shop whilst in the city. Service at the front desk is good, managed to check in within minutes upon arrival. The room smelt fresh and clean upon checked in. It is very tidy although is slightly small in size. This is always my choice of hotel to stay whenever I am in Kuala Lumpur. Room price: Around RM250 per night, including breakfast for two. #staycation #couplestrip

Room 👇🏻 The room smelt fresh, eventhough room was small but still comfortable and surprisingly, this hotel room have ceiling fan. They also provided an iron board, iron, hair dryer and two towels. The Cititel Mid Valley hotel is a giant hotel with more than 600 rooms. The hotel has a superb location just above the mid valley shopping mall. The hotel lobby is linked to the mid valley mall near the secret recipe and Watson's store. You do not need to worry about rain or shine. There is a dropoff point at both the hotel lobby as well as the mid valley east dropoff point just beside the hotel. The hotel has 2 types of room category. The superior room is 18m2 with no bathtub, and the deluxe 36m2 with a bathtub and separate standing shower. I booked the deluxe room as it is more spacious, twice the size of the superior room and it comes with a bathtub. The hotel has undergone renovation recently and has changed into a more stylish hotel. #bucketlistreboot
