2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣Slow Tour of Kaohsiung, Taiwan for 4 days and 3 nights DAY3️⃣ One-day tour in Cijin About 6 minutes’ walk from Hamashing Station, we arrived at Gushan Ferry Station and took the ferry to Cijin Ferry Station. The journey only took 5 to 10 minutes and the ticket price was NT$30. After arriving, we rented a four-person electric bicycle for sightseeing. ➡️Attractions: Windmill Park Our first stop was to the farthest "Windmill Park". We lost the bicycle path after walking down the road and had to walk out onto the road. Several cars got lost along the way and it took us a while to finally get into the Windmill Park. 🙈 ➡️Attractions: Sea Pearl Sea Pearl is a peculiarly shaped building with various ocean-related displays to help you better understand the charm of the ocean. ➡️Attractions: Rainbow Church The Rainbow Church is a very unique building with a colorful exterior that gives people a full fairy-tale feel. 🏮Sanfeng Temple The lantern lights create a beautiful effect when taking pictures of people. If you go up the stairs and take a selfie close to the lanterns, you'll be surprised at how good your skin looks! Highly recommended. 🌈Cijin Island Evening at the beach. There are women who stay in the best positions for taking photos forever. Their boyfriends who take the pictures must have a hard time. Everything in moderation. 🎄Kaohsiung Central Park It was December, so there were illuminations. There were so many that even I, who usually don't get excited about illuminations, felt a bit thrilled. 🚉Old Kaohsiung Station The new station was under construction. The new station is impressive, but seeing the old station lit up made me think about all the different stories people must have had there. I love the sense of preserving old things and bringing out new charm with lighting.

Qijin Island has fine sand beaches that are soft and comfortable to walk on. The waves gently lap the shore, making a pleasant sound. There are also many unique food stalls on the island, with a variety of mouth-watering delicacies 😋, such as fresh seafood barbecue. Stroll along the beach, enjoy the beautiful sea view, and feel the sea breeze. It's so relaxing. There are also some interesting attractions to check in and take photos. I still remember my trip around Taiwan My friend and I took a minibus from Kenting to Kaohsiung The driver looked like he was in his 70s He drove like a maniac The four of us in the back row My friend and I linked arms Exchanged glances "I feel sick" "Hold on" Next to us was a couple The guy held the girl tightly in his arms And shouted at the driver "Sir, did you drive for a gang when you were young?" The driver had a cigarette in his mouth "Young man, I'm driving fast so you can get to Kaohsiung sooner" Anyway, we arrived in Kaohsiung safely I didn't throw up I was hungry from the bumpy ride Luckily, there was a hot pot restaurant like Xiabu Xiabu downstairs, so I had a nice hot pot meal, recharged, and started my afternoon city walk ✅Visit the British Consulate at Takao, enjoy the combination of history and nature, have a cup of milk tea, and walk through the red house, as if traveling through time and space ✅Take a ferry from Xiziwan to Cijin Island, enjoy a walk by the sea, and try local snacks such as seafood and sausage wrapped in glutinous rice ✅Take the MRT back to the city and visit the creative art space, Pier-2 Art Center. 1️⃣ Gangshan Skywalk The skywalk is an 88-meter-long, 40-meter-high steel cable-stayed bridge. The bridge deck is paved with several pieces of reinforced glass, allowing you to overlook the beautiful view of Agongdian Reservoir from the bridge. 🕐 Opening hours: 9:00 am–5:00 pm (closed on Mondays) 2️⃣ Cijin Island - Cijin Lighthouse Cijin Island is located at the southwest end of Kaohsiung Port. It is a small island full of fishing village charm. The most famous Cijin Lighthouse is the oldest lighthouse in Kaohsiung, offering views of Kaohsiung Port and Cijin Coast. 3️⃣ Love River Gondola Take a boat ride along the Love River, listen to the captain hum a song, sip a cocktail, and enjoy the beauty of the harbor city at night from a different perspective. 🕐 Opening hours: 4:30 pm–11:30 pm 4️⃣ Qishan Old Street Qishan Old Street is full of delicious food. We recommend the Shaoxing wine fried rice and banana cake. After eating and drinking, you can also visit Qishan Tianhou Temple. 🚎 Transportation: Get off at Zuoying HSR Station, transfer to the Kaohsiung Bus "Qishan Express Bus" and get off at Qishan Bus Station, then walk for 5 minutes. 5️⃣ Former British Consulate at Takao Construction began in 1876, designed and supervised by the British Ministry of Works. It was the first official British consulate in Taiwan. Cijin Island is a peninsula located in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. It's a great spot for a short trip. There are plenty of natural landscapes and cultural arts to enjoy. You can watch the sea, hike, and take photos with many artistic decorations. The food is quite good and cheaper than in Taipei. There's also a market where you can buy seafood as souvenirs, such as dried fish and XO sauce. I find it quite nice.

#Fly to Hong Kong It is an island in Kaohsiung City. It takes less than 10 minutes by ferry. It is suitable for traveling, relaxing, and doing activities. The atmosphere is very good. Rent an electric tricycle, travel around and find a photo spot according to the map that the shop rented for you. It was very enjoyable. My favorite spot is the Qijin Tunnel. It is beautiful and cool. Other spots are also worth taking pictures of. I spent 2 hours on the island and loved it.

#TravelAbroad It is an island that takes less than 10 minutes by ferry to see a different atmosphere. It is peaceful, chill, and has many photo spots decorated at various points. When we arrived, we rented an electric tricycle with a map to take us to see different spots, including the lighthouse, the star tunnel, the black sand beach, and many other cute spots. For a photography lover like us, it took us about 2 hours. This place is really beautifully decorated.

#weekendgetaways A perfect day trip for a weekend getaway if you are ever in the city of Kaohsiung Getting There - Take the MRT to Sizhiwan Station. Once out of the station, follow the signs that say ferry port which takes you on a 350m walk. The ferry ride takes only 5 minutes to get to the island. Both MRT and ferry ride accepts EasyCard for travel convenience. Attractions - Beaches, Cijin Tunnel of Stars, Lighthouse, Fort Ruins, Food street, Sunset view, Biking Trails, Fishing Spots, Surfing Food & Restaurants - Variety of Taiwanese street food selling in stalls and roadside, Seafood, Sunset Bar An island with many attraction spots apart from the sandy beaches and tranquil waves, this is what makes Cijin Island such a unique place. On the way, passby a beautiful tunnel which was recently refurbished and you will come across a magnificent view of the waves hitting along the rocks. After a hike atop quite a number of stairs (not for the faint hearted), you will reach the lighthouse where there is a coffee shop for you to take a rest if needed. After that, follow the path to the Cijin fort where you can see the remaining remnants. Acrophobias beware as the fort is quite tall in height. Feeling tired? Follow a short path down to the beaches and rest at the local sunset bar where as the name implies, you can view the daily sunset atop the sea and beach. #TaiwanTravel Just take a big boat across for less than 15 minutes and you will arrive at an island with a great atmosphere, perfect for relaxing. When you get there, rent an electric tricycle for 500 NTD / 2 hours. The shop will provide a map and we drive to hunt for cool photo spots on this island. It's fun and enjoyable. 2 hours is just right for people who like taking pictures like us. We arrived just in time for the car. The ferry fare is 30 NTD per person. You can use the Easy Card.

The cruise stopped in Kaohsiung for half a day. Visiting Cijin Peninsula became the only choice. We rented electric family bicycles and easily saw the scenery along the coastline. 🏞️. #Taiwan City Attractions If you travel to Kaohsiung, you must spend a day visiting Cijin Island. Cijin, formerly known as "Qihou", is a long and narrow island. Most tourists can take a ferry from Gushan Pier to Cijin, and the journey only takes 5 minutes. ⭕️Qijin Beach: There is an arc-shaped coastline stretching for several kilometers, with a black sand beach with fine sand. Take a day trip to Cijin The place we will introduce to you this time is Cijin, located in Kaohsiung! Cijin is one of the small islands located in Kaohsiung. The transportation there is very convenient. It takes about 10 minutes to take a ferry from Kaohsiung City. You can go there early to play, and then return to Kaohsiung at night to play🫶🏻 First of all, you can rent a 4-6-seater tram/motorcycle when you get there, so you can get there and you can travel around the island like this ~ However, remember to check the price. Each one does not charge and! We rented a motorcycle and a four-person tram last time for about $2000 TWD for two hours! After successfully renting a car, we went to the Starry Sky Tunnel to check in, which was originally the military combat readiness tunnel "Qijin Starry Sky Tunnel". The tunnel is the only sea view bicycle path in the country with attractions such as the lighthouse behind the flag and the turret behind the flag. It's very atmospheric and beautiful to take pictures there! Then we went to the Rainbow Church, the Rainbow Church location actually has two big booths the first of which is the Rainbow Church! The second one is like the frame of Japanese Torii to take pictures of the water reflection🚪 There are many people checking in that place, so you have to be patient when queuing ❤️ After the card at Rainbow Church, we went to the Windmill Park and we found that the best way to take pictures of windmills if you need to take them is not behind the windmills, but from a long distance to take many pictures of windmills This is the most beautiful and easiest to photograph. #TaiwanTravel Qijin Island is a small tourist island that can be reached by ferry for only 5 minutes. There are many interesting tourist attractions on the island. There are many spots that people who like to take pictures must check in. Each spot is very colorful and cute. On the island, there is a shop that rents electric tricycles and provides a map. We rented for 2 hours for 600 TWD. It was a fun drive, the wind was cool and comfortable, and the atmosphere was great. It really meets the needs of photography lovers like us. 📸

Make a trip down to Cijin since we are in Kaohsiung. You won’t regret heading to Cijin. The locals and very friendly, there are lots of food stalls around and it is very affordable. We explore Cijin by renting their bicycle operated by electricity. Would recommend renting their bicycle so you can explore further and more. But some areas will require walking which includes Cihou Lighthouse as you will need to walk up the slope. Pretty tiring but think the view is worth it.#kaohsiung #cijin

You can use the easy card to tap. Very convenient There are many places to visit. We can walk or rent a motorcycle, a tricycle, there are many to choose from. The price depends on the type of vehicle and the time of use. The Cihou Lighthouse is a white lighthouse that is over 100 years old. Built by the British, it is located on a hill. The Star Tunnel is very beautiful. We drove along the black beach. It felt very good. Overall, there are many photo spots. It is also famous as a place to eat fresh seafood.

Getting There - Take MRT To Sizihwan station, and walk to Gushan Ferry Pier Station to take a 5 min ferry to Cijin island Attractions - Kaohsiung Lighthouse, Cihou Fort, Cijin Tunnel, Cijin beach, Cijin Tianhou Temple Hotels - There are a couple of home stays on the island but most people do a day trip to the island. Spend about half a day here to see all the above attractions Food & Restaurants - Most famous for Various seafood restaurants along Cijin Old street. Fresh and affordable. I went to the Cijin Island in Kaohsiung, Taiwan with motorbike and ship. I took my motorbike to the ship and rode it to around the island. One of the most attractions thing is food! There are many fresh seafood stalls along the street and restaurants as well as lottery shop. Also, there is a nearby dried seafood market nearby and I also buy many of them back. The price of food is reasonable. I really enjoy this trip!

This is Cijin Island, a must-visit place in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. If you take a ferry from the ferry pier, you will arrive in about 10 minutes. There is a place where you can rent an electric bicycle right after getting off. 🚲 It is good to walk, but I recommend renting a bicycle! It takes about 2 hours to see everything by bicycle. There are palm trees and the sea, so it feels exotic. 🫶🏻 If you come at sunset, you can see this view. If you come with your lover, friends, or family, you will all be satisfied. ❤️‍🔥

Part 2 of Cijin island post! Another famous tourist spot would be to visit the star tunnel (giving us a short shade from the scorching hot sun). towards the end of the tunnel, you’ll be greeted with astonishing view of the sea, naturally formed rocks & barely any tourist as well!! We got lucky, so we were able to take as many picture as possible over there :) When the wave crashed upon the rocks, the view was mad beautiful. Also super windy so becareful of your phone & camera! then we cycled back to visit other attractions & we chanced upon a place with a very nice walkway upon the greenery, and some tall building which we got up and enjoyed the entire view of the island. This area was full of tourists so you won’t miss it while you’re researching on what to do at cijin island! Finally, before getting the ferry back to kaohsiung main island, we took a break at a random shaved ice shop & they had the BEST shaved ice i had in the entire trip. A day trip to cijin island from kaohsiung Taiwan during the hot summer time!! Weather was burning & we explored the island by renting bicycles upon arriving at Cijin Island after a short ferry ride from the harbour. I think having a bike to explore the island is the best way, however for individuals who are not the best in their fitness, you can actually rent motorbikes as well, or get taxi rides! The entire cijin island isn’t that big, so 1 day would be enough for you to explore all the instagramable spots on the island. This seashell attraction is one of those located at the far end of the island, however when we were there, there were no other tourists around which was good! & you’ll be able to see beautiful sea views there while you’re taking ur perfect tourist shots! When you go to Kaohsiung, you must visit Cijin Coastal Park ☀️ Under the blue sky and white clouds, cycling along the seaside is really very comfortable Since the coastal park covers a vast area, it is best to use bicycles instead of walking, otherwise there is a long line 🤣 I rented a family-style bicycle for four people last time, slowly blowing the sea breeze along the coast to visit, very relaxing 😀 Here are two recommended checkpoints: Rainbow Church⛪️ When I went nearby, I saw a small queue. There are two sea pearl listening points inside the shell. You can hear the sound of the waves when you walk in. 🌊 Access: Get off at Kaohsiung MRT Xiziwan Station, go to Gushan Ferry Station and take the ferry to Cijin. With the restrictive relaxation of the policy on going to sea in Taiwan under the second level alert, You can go here, there is a small lagoon with small waves.
