I have always wanted to see these beautiful round buildings, that housed whole villages. But it's not just homes in these buildings. In the center they would hold meetings, weddings, funerals and other kinds of gatherings. The first ring from the centre was the school, where only girls could attend and boys went to work on the farm. The outer ring on level one was the dedicated to stores such as, hairdressers, blacksmiths, butchers, tailors etc. The remaining second and third floor on the outer ring, were people's homes. This was truly a gift to see these buildings.

This Tulou cluster in Chuxi, China is one of my most memorable place I have ever been to. These collection of historic buildings are very old but it is a proof of an extreme unique architecture of the old time. I would definetely come back again and enjoy my time here again.
