Day trip to Dazu, book for tickets by yourself through trip.com for baodingshan and beishan (baodingshan main site and shows more than enough for a day trip to be honest). Explore the place at your own pace and see the intricate carvings. It would take about 1hr to go through the site but 2-3h if you chill and explore at each point with slow pace. Head to Hongya cave at night and admire the night lights along the bridge and the Hongyadon buildings. It’s truly a magnificent sight and would make one wonder why Paris is called the city of light and not Chongqing. Spend about 2h to explore this with comfort, try some local food and head for a music bar atop the views.

Most impressive at night time. But can be so terribly congested.... Nice to walk and dine there (all prices plenty of eateries). Also the bridge and some other impressive views. I took a nice video and picture of of this place and this can help you appreciate the beauty! The architecture was incredible and the way building were fitted onto the landscape was breathtaking.Lights at night were really amazing and impressive. The only downfall is they are just too many people. I suppose being a tourist must see, and no door ticket fee, it is worthwhile going.
