It is also recommended to visit with the aim of opening the door of the secret Buddha Manjushri Bodhisattva several times a year. In addition, the many picture horses displayed on Monju-do are also a must-see. You can feel the historical background of the time from a wide variety of paintings such as waka, martial arts, and career.

It takes about 2 and a half hours to get here by bus from Kyoto on a day trip. It is easier to take a direct bus with children. We chose to take the cable car to the observation deck, where we can take a lot of nice photos and see one of the three most scenic views in Japan, the "Amanohashidate Hiryukan". We can also try to look at it upside down from under our buttocks, which is quite a novel experience. There is also an amusement park here where kids have a blast. You can ride an aerial bike to enjoy the scenery, with a wider and unobstructed view, which is a completely different kind of beauty. Then take the cable car or chairlift back down the mountain and walk to Zhi'en Temple and the coast. We went back to the hotel area hungry to eat, so you can bring some snacks. 4️⃣Viewing the natural seascape known as "Flying Dragon View" from Kasamatsu Park requires good weather!
