Hangzhou's 4A treasured scenic spot offers free New Year prayers in 2024
In the blink of an eye, January 2024 is about to pass. After a year of hard work, our friends are about to usher in the winter vacation and the Spring Festival!
So the question is, where should we go to welcome the Year of the Dragon? Wouldn't it be best if you could share in the good fortune? Then come to Hangzhou’s treasured 4A scenic spot, which will be open for free on New Year’s Eve 2024 and you can participate in a lottery!
What we want to talk about is the China Silk Museum, which is a national professional silk museum, also the largest silk museum in the world, and a 4A scenic spot.
According to the introduction of the park, the entire museum covers an area of 42,286 square meters and has a construction area of 22,999 square meters. It has buildings such as the Silk Road Hall, Sericulture Hall, Weaving Hall, Textile Cultural Relics Restoration and Exhibition Hall, Jinxiu Gallery, Xiaofeng Book House, Collection Building, Fashion Hall, Belt Gallery, and Women's Needlework Training Hall. It also houses precious historical relics such as the Warring States Period Dragon and Wind Pattern Brocade, Han and Jin Dynasty Changbao Descendants Brocade, Northern Dynasties Twisted Silk Clothes, Tang Dynasty Brocade Sleeves Floral Patterned Silk Robe, Liao Dynasty Gold-Patterned Round Nest Scroll Grass and Geese Luo, Song Dynasty Flower Luo Skirt and Pants, Yuan Dynasty Gold-Printed Luo Short-sleeved Shirt, and Qing Dynasty Black Satin Ground Colorful Embroidered Floral Women's Jacket!
When we started to wander around, our first impression was of a "paradise on earth". The lush gardens, the corridors, the fresh air, and the happy and lively geese were all refreshing. Not only was the scenery picturesque, but it also made us feel relaxed and at ease!
In the [Silk Road Museum], friends can see the "Jincheng - Chinese Silk and the Silk Road" exhibition, which displays Han and Tang Dynasty fabrics unearthed along the Silk Road, Liao and Jin Dynasty objects from the northern grasslands, Song Dynasty costumes from the Jiangnan region, official weaving products from the Ming and Qing dynasties, as well as modern cheongsams and landscape fabrics, and other fine cultural relics in the museum's collection, allowing people to understand the 5,000-year glorious journey of silk and the thousands of miles of the Silk Road.
In the [Fashion Hall], it feels like entering a boutique women's clothing store. The sight of gorgeous crowns and beautiful clothes, and the elegant ladies in the clothes are so charming that you can't let go of them and want to wear them home!
In the [Restoration Hall], you can also see sportswear from different periods, such as tennis suits, cycling suits, swimsuits, golf suits, etc., which is really eye-opening!
When you are tired of visiting, you can also find a sunny weekend afternoon to watch the clouds rolling by in the museum, the wind blowing through the trees, the white geese playing in the water, and the koi carp leaping on the water. It is truly relaxing and comfortable!
What's more, what's even more gratifying is that the China Silk Museum has always been free, and now that the 2024 Spring Festival is approaching, it is full of the festive atmosphere and there are many activities!
