Bangkok Children's Discovery Museum is the first children's museum in Thailand. It is located in Queen Sirikit Park in Bangkok. It aims to cultivate children's independence, mobility and creativity of thinking. It breaks the restrictions that traditional museums cannot touch or touch, and encourages children Hands-on, hands-on, let the children gain knowledge in a joyful atmosphere. There are 3 exhibition halls and outdoor teaching spaces in the museum, which display different themes such as life, science, cultural customs, science and technology, nature and environment. The outdoor teaching space is a place to relax and play. Children can try to be a carpenter to build a house, or climb the 7-meter-high space net to exercise their courage, which is full of fun. In addition, there are hands-on projects such as candle making and weaving in the museum. Encourage children to look for their own questions, seek answers, and explore how the world works, how nature cycles, and more.
This children's museum is divided into several parts. First, there is a pool at the entrance for everyone to play in the water. Many local children will play in the water by the pool accompanied by their parents. Please note that there are no complete changing rooms and showers here, so you must bring a towel and dry clothes to change. On the other side of the pool, there is a small sand pool and a rope castle and sand pile for children to play.
There are several floors in the museum, each with different themes and exhibitions. Most of them are only in Thai, but for children who are not Thai speakers, they can actually participate. There are some building blocks, toys and general knowledge activities upstairs, where children can play with their parents. The entire children's museum is free to enter.
