Chiang Mai, the second largest city in Thailand, is both laid-back and exciting
The first stop in Thailand is Chiang Mai, a city whose name alone is enough to fall in love with. It was the favorite city of Teresa Teng, and although it is the second largest city in Thailand, it has the laziness and casualness of a small town, with long stories of small town life.
Many people don't want to leave once they come, so they stay and live here. Three short days are not enough to really get into Chiang Mai, but they are enough to get an initial impression.

Night Safari in Chiang Mai, Thailand
This week for the first time I’ve been on the north capital of Thailand - Chiang Mai. I only planned to stay there for 3 nights, so right after I check in to the hotel, I join the tour to Chiang Mai Night Safari. Before I also never joined any safari. From city centre to Safari park it’s around 30 minutes drive by taxi. Because of pandemic, many attractions are closed so just 2 hours is more then enough for all the activities there. Before Safari you can enjoy few shows, such as dancing show and tiger show. And after that you can take small train to Safari. Safari by itself only last for 20 minutes. And everything it’s depends how lucky you are, because some animals may be sleeping. #themepark #thailand

The Chiang Mai Night Zoo is built on the success of the successful Singapore Night Zoo, which is home to many local Thai beasts. The park is divided into African savannah animal area, carnivorous animal area and Jaguar trail hiking area. Visitors can take a sightseeing car on both sides. The Carnivore District is located in the heart of the park, where you can see bengal tigers, cougars, lions, hyenas, bears, wild boars, deer and other animals.
Tourists can get off the bus and take a walking tour, which is very impressive. There are also relatively less stimulating activities in the zoo, such as photographing tigers and watching light shows. There is also a nice restaurant in the park.

The Chiang Mai Night Zoo is the largest zoo in Thailand. It is far away from Chiang Mai City. More specifically, the zoo uses the characteristics of carnivorous animals like night activities, and opens a nighttime tour. The tour bus walks in the dark woods. Compared to domestic zoos, it is more interesting. Giraffes will come directly to you, remember to keep smiling at all times. . . The little traveler who travels to Chiang Mai can experience it.

Overall,
the whole night safari,
can bring a unique experience to every tourist,
as if you are immersed in the animal kingdom,
feeling the beauty of harmonious coexistence between man and nature,
The only downside is the animal performance,
I always believe that,
human happiness should not be built on the suffering of animals,
refuse animal performances starting from you and me.

Chiang Mai Night Safari
#songkran2024 The visit felt like a machine gun firing of events with little break between the shots. For the kids it was amazing and I also felt quite entertained. The safari consists of two different tram rides that are quite nice. Then there are the tiger show and the night predator show. Especially the tiger show is a borderline case of what one can watch when considering ethics and animal healthcare. Wouldn’t come again for that exact reason. However, the kids were well entertained and the evening closed with a fountain show that was quite a friendly highlight. Pricey and no healthy food options available.

Check in at Chiang Mai Night Safari, get close to cute animals
Chiang Mai Night Safari is located at the foot of Suthep Mountain in Thailand, and is the largest zoo in Thailand. In addition to various rare animals, there are also scenic gardens, waterfalls and lakes. The scenery is very beautiful, and you can overlook the entire Chiang Mai city from the top of the mountain.
Chiang Mai Night Safari takes advantage of the characteristics of carnivores who like to be active at night, and has opened a night tour project. You can take a small car that can accommodate up to 24 people to observe lions, tigers, bears, wild wolves and other animals at close range. It is a rare and exciting experience, suitable for family trips with the elderly and children.
Singapore Night Safari is the world's first wildlife park open for tourists at night, and Chiang Mai is the second.
Thailand is visa-free‼️ Chiang Mai is warm in winter, not cold, there are many tourist attractions, and the prices are not high... New Year and Spring Festival are coming soon, arrange quickly and come here for a holiday‼️
Here, you can also watch literary performances. If you are tired from shopping, the zoo also provides a variety of special foods for you to replenish your energy.

Chiang Mai Night Safari in Thailand
Chiang mai night safari has two really cute trams that bring you to two different parts of the safari where most of the animals are free roam! The animals are really just next to your tram, and the giraffes even poked their heads into our tram. They also have this cute petting farm where you can feed their donkeys and goats!
From the entry gate up to the main building there are wild deer and muntjac roaming around, they are also seen around the north and south tour zones. So watching different kinds of animals such as tigers, cheetahs, elephants, snakes etc will have a fabulous feeling.
Chiang Mai Night Safari is located in the sub-district of Mae Hia in Chiang Mai, and the district Nong Khwai, and the district Hang Dong.

Chiang Mai Night Safari
The Chiang Mai Night Safari is a relaxed evening activity and great for kids. Arriving around 3pm will give you adequate time to experience all the activities. If you bought your tickets on Trip.com, then be sure to collect them at the coffee shop on the left, before going to the entrance.
We begun with the Tiger show at 3.30pm and then enjoyed the walking zone which lead us to the day Savanna Safari tram, you can enjoy some popcorn (40 baht a box) while watching the dance performances. There is then the options of the 2nd, Night Safari, tram. You can walk through the walking zone again at night to see the nocturnal animals now awake. The Night Predator Show is outside, so I suggest you save it for last.
For those with the Bolt app, it cost us around 130-150 baht each way(to and from the Old Town). This works out cheaper than the red vans if you have more than 2 people, as they charge 60 baht per person.
Enjoy guys!☺️🙏🏼

Booked a tour through an agent on the street. Got a discount but I think it could be cheaper if you went there yourself and bought a ticket but transport might be an issue. My ticket includes transportation to and from. 2 safari trams to see the animals, tiger Show, night predator show and a dancing show.
The kids enjoyed themselves so it was worth it.

ChiangMai Night Safari, Thailand: Good for family with young kids. It was fun enjoying a night tour seeing wild life at night time. We also feed them some vegetables. It take only few minutes drive to the zoo from ChiangMai airport. 🦓🦌🦓🦌
