✨ Chiang Khan Walking Street – A classic and charming area that you can’t miss! Fresh air, chilling, and delicious food in a warm atmosphere along the Mekong River ✨
If you’re looking for a charming and original walking street that’s locally authentic, I have to say that Chiang Khan Walking Street in Loei is the answer. This street is full of old charm that’s still well-preserved, from old wooden houses, local shops, to the view of the Mekong River stretching along the road. 🏞️
🌿 Chiang Khan is a small and quiet town. Walking into the walking street in the evening is like stepping back in time. Traditional wooden houses line both sides of the street. The color of the old wood has become a unique identity. There are beautiful souvenir shops in a homemade style and a small coffee shop filled with the aroma of freshly roasted coffee. Coming here is like really resting your heart.
🍢 When you come to Chiang Khan, you have to try the local food. There are many to choose from, such as *Khao Jee*, fragrant and easy to eat, *Moo Puang, Pla Ra Bong*, extremely delicious, and *Mekong River Prawn. * Don't miss out on the grilled skewers*. Take a leisurely stroll and sip on some refreshing longan juice.
📸 Don't forget to stop by and take a photo with the classic wooden houses lining the area. No matter which angle you take, it looks like it came out of an old photograph. Or sit back and relax and take a photo of the Mekong River in the evening. We guarantee that you'll get a simple but charming photo. 🌸😊
Chiang Khan Walking Street doesn't just have food or souvenirs, but it's also about experiencing a simple life. We highly recommend that you try it at least once. Then you'll know that walking slowly can really give you a lot back. 🌻
Opening hours: Open daily from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
** If you drive your own car, we recommend parking on the side of the road or at a temple nearby. 😍
