Views for Days, Legs on Fire (But Worth It)
#summervacay Cheonmasan in Namyangju came out swinging, like, I knew it’d be pretty, but dang, those views were next level. The hike itself starts off nice and chill, but don’t get too comfy… it gets steep real quick. Lots of stairs, lots of “why did I think this was a good idea?” moments, but it’s one of those hikes where every turn gives you a new awesome view, so you keep going.
Forests, rocky sections, and even a few spots with ropes (spicy but fun). And when you finally hit the top, wow. Full panoramic view of the city, mountains, and sky just showing off. Easily one of the best summits I’ve hit without going super far from Seoul.
Definitely bring water, snacks, and maybe mentally prepare your knees for the downhill. It’s a workout, but in the best way. If you want a solid hike with major scenery payoff, Cheonmasan’s got you. 10/10 would do again… after a nap.
