Panda Base, see the flowers and avoid crowded routes, take less detours
This weekend, to see the flowers, friends from all over the country are rushing.
✅First, the key points:
1. If you want to see the flowers, line up at the south gate around 5:30-6:00 in the morning❗️Follow the top route below
2. If you're not insistent on seeing the flowers, enter from the west gate❗️The environment is good, and there are still many pandas! Follow the laid-back route below
3. The pandas are too cute, gnawing on bamboo, getting angry, even their backs are super cute.
✅Before you go, highlight the key points⚠️:
1. 📕Ticket purchase: Only online reservations, 'Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base', can book tickets 7 days in advance: full price ticket 55 yuan (18-59 years old), half price: 27 (students and Sichuan and Chongqing households), free tickets: people over 60 and children under 6.
2. 🕐Admission time: Morning ticket 7:30-12:00, afternoon ticket: 12:00-17:00 (only allowed to enter the park at the specified time)
3. 🚆Transportation:

Don't want to squeeze, go to the west gate: Metro Line 3 Military General Hospital B, take the scenic area shuttle bus to the west gate (2 yuan)
Self-driving: Both gates have parking lots
Park sightseeing car: 30 yuan/person, the park is very large, walking will make you doubt life.
Top route VS laid-back route
✅See the female star flower, go from the south gate to the west gate
1⃣Arrive at the south gate to line up around 5:30-6:00! This is the top time
2⃣Go straight to Flower's residence - Young Giant Panda Villa!!
3⃣Flower starts work early, comes out at 7:30, and finishes at 9:30 when it's hot
4⃣After seeing the flowers, the time is relatively relaxed, continue to play: Sun Delivery Room, Moon Delivery Room, Star Delivery Room, Panda Star Kitchen Station, Panda Tower Station (park landmark building), Adventure Valley, at least 3-4 hours to finish.
The high-value, good-tempered, and cute flower is really too cute.
✅Laid-back route: from the west gate to the south gate
Friends who are not insistent on seeing the flowers can enter directly from the west gate, no queue, fewer people in the new area, and see pandas up close
✔️It is recommended to walk around the 7 'Moon' pavilions first, then queue for the sightseeing car, then get off at the Panda Villa Station, go to the Moon Delivery Room, Sun Delivery Room to see the baby pandas and see other pavilions on the way, you can meet many pandas along the way.
1. Bring sun protection and food, friends who want to see the flowers should be prepared for the early rise and huge crowds.
2. Buy the sightseeing car online in advance, no sale when there are many people at noon

Chengdu three-day two-night free trip, hurry up and copy homework!
Chengdu·Sichuan, this city is irresistible. When you feel tired, you must come to Chengdu once and experience its slow life.
Transportation:
The scenic spots in Chengdu are very concentrated, and there are only a few stations between the subway stations. Moreover, each scenic spot has a bus that can be taken, which is very convenient. If you take the subway or bus, you just need to download an app called 'Tianfu Tong'.
Accommodation:
It is recommended to choose to live near Chunxi Road Taikoo Li, because it is very convenient to go anywhere.
Must-visit attractions:
'Wuhou Temple'
Here is the most beautiful red wall, friends who are obsessed with the Three Kingdoms must not miss it. Whether you take photos casually📷 or play the characters of the Three Kingdoms, this is an excellent background.
'Kuanzhai Alley'
This is an ancient alley that literary and artistic youths must check in. I used to think that Kuanzhai Alley was a street name, until I came to Chengdu to discover that it actually includes a wide alley and a narrow alley. Although there is a strong commercial atmosphere here, it is definitely a good place for sightseeing. Having a cup of coffee☕️ here and spending an afternoon will be a very comfortable experience.
'Jinli'
The night view🌃 is very beautiful at night, as if you have traveled to the scene of the ancient New Year's lantern festival, it is very lively. There are many stages, small bars and resident singers🎤 inside, giving people a unique atmosphere.
'Chunxi Road/Taikoo Li'
This is a gathering place for fashion trendsetters, and there are really many beauties. Be sure to take a photo with the giant panda at ifs🏬.
'Giant Panda Breeding Base/Chengdu Zoo'
It is a good choice for friends who like animals. Although general foreign tourists will choose the panda breeding base, the city zoo is also very good. In addition to the cute pandas🐼, there are many other animals waiting for your exploration.
'Jiuyan Bridge'
A good place for a walk🚶 at night, the night view here is very beautiful, making people feel peaceful. Taking a walk here is a good choice.
'Qingcheng Mountain'
Ticket🎫80/person, cable car🚠 one-way/35 person. Located outside Chengdu city, it takes a whole day to play. This is the famous place where the story of Bai Suzhen and Xu Xian took place, with beautiful scenery. The tour time is not long, about half a day, so you can return to Dujiangyan District to find food.
'Dujiangyan'
Ticket🎫80/person Sightseeing car10/person. This is not only a world-famous water conservancy project, but also a beautiful scenic spot. You can take the 101 bus from Qingcheng Mountain to Lidui Park Station, about an hour's drive.
Must-eat delicacies:
I am very longing for Chengdu's food. However, although we stayed there for a few days, we still didn't eat a lot of delicious food. Recommend Chengdu's hot pot🍲, spicy hot pot, sugar oil fruit/red sugar glutinous rice cake, Chengdu ice powder/tofu pudding and bobo chicken🐔.
Play small tips:
The airport has a direct bus to the city, and you can reach the city center for only 10 yuan.
If you want to taste delicious hot pot🍲, Chengdu's small shops can satisfy your taste, no need to go to expensive big shops.
Chengdu's famous bar street 339 is an excellent choice for drinking🍺.

PANDAS 🐼 just gorgeous. Chengdu Research Panda base
In Chengdu?, you MUST see the pandas 🐼 Very glad we visited the Panda Research Base in Chengdu, even though it was a hot day we still got a chance to see the pandas in their inside enclosures.
📍20 minutes drive north from city center by taxi 45RMB. Hotels also help you arrange tours.
🎟The entrance fee is 55RMB, you MUST book at least 24 hours in advance (see code in pictures), specially for the morning session.
⌚️Do arrive before 10am taking into consideration lining up to enter which can take half an hour➕. we got it at 9:50 and literally 10 minutes later the pandas were fast asleep.
The base is big,🚶 easily a 2 hour walk if you see the nursery👶 and visit all the information points, therr is also a little car that can take you to the different POI no extra fee. The base is great for children, lots of information and although we didn't take part in he volunteer program the facilities for it looked amazing.
📸 There are plenty of photo opportunities in and around the park with,.don't miss them, Panda ice creams and even the names of the roafs around the base are worth a picture. Definitely worth it.🐼 they are as cute as you imagine and the conservation story and efforts are impressive. The cutest national treasure I have seve😍🐼 #sichuan #roadtrip #pandas #china #summervacation

Come meet the beautiful pandas in Chengdu.
It was a great day visit and learning about the pandas. The weather was great, the customer service was good and the environment was clean and welcoming. If you decide to go , wear comfortable shoes and clothing. The Bamboo Restaurant food was great. So many people were in the queues to see the pandas it’s a must visit place in Chengdu once you visit.

Panda’s! Panda’s! Panda’s! Cuteness overload!
I loved visiting the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding! It’s fairly straightforward to take a taxi to the base and will cost roughly 50-100RMB. The park is an extremely open area with small crowds in the giant panda area. Saw many wonderful panda’s and they were adorable!
The food was a bit overpriced (to be expected) but there was a large amount of options which was great. Something for everyone to enjoy.
Tour Bus Service: Given that the park is an impressive 165 acres they have tour buses around the park. There is a fee of 10RMB per person, which is extremely reasonable given the size of the park.
Areas to improve: Little to no one to assist and answer questions in the park. Since I walked around the park, it wasn’t very clear how to get to the baby panda area. Once I did get there was a massive crowd of people with minimal crowd control. Therefore, if you get nervous or dislike crowds it might be best to go during a weekday and definitely not during a holiday.
Overall an amazing time! I bought a few very cute souvenirs at the gift shop which serve as an amazing memory of a great day! I look forward to visiting again!
Opening Hours: 07:30am - 18:00pm, all year long
Ticket Price: 58RMB per person

Chengdu Panda and city day
Panda day was amazing 🐼😁
It was easy to book a taxi from the hotel to the south gate, its closer to the panda section.
It was good to get there early to avoid the crowds, it was worth it to see the panda eating breakfast (8:30 to 10am). Plus, buy the half day ticket there.
Walking around was easy, just follow the signs and you can see the pandas better. After get the tour bus to take you through the park to the other side of the park and see the other views.
At the North Gate there are buses which can take you back to city center.

Cute Days begin at Panda Central
Southwest of China is Sichuan. In Sichuan is the Chengdu metropolis. In Chengdu is a Conservation Base & in there are the cutest, clumsiest, most adorable bears; the Giant Pandas. Now being an African & never having seen these guys in person made for a exciting, tick-off-the-bucket list trip. The base is huge and you are taken to different parts to see the pandas doing absolutely nothing but being cute. So unreal are these animals in fact, I was convinced the employees were playing dress-up. There are different spect that you could learn about. Some of these are housed in these glass dome buildings to roll about in and just be. There’s other animals in the base that living freely. Apportion a whole day (& comfy walking shoes) for these cuties, they are worth it.

The biggest Panda Base in the World
Chengdu Research Bade of Giant Panda is the biggest research and breeding station for Pandas in the world. Many pandas 🐼 were born here and it is one of the key places for survival of Panda.
For visitors it's mainly like a big zoo for Giant Panda and the smaller Red Panda. You can see babies sometimes and about 30 to 50 pandas. They have quite huge space, so it's even interesting for people who usually don't like zoos.
🕜 Time is important! Pandas often sleep during the noon hours, so better come in the early morning...
🎟️ A ticket for the Panda station is about 30 to 50RMB.
🚇 It's in the north of Chengdu. Many bus lines drive to the entrance directly.

ADORABLE PANDAS IN CHENGDU!
This was marked as a must see spot for anyone coming to Chengdu for the first time.
The day I went was extremely hot and most of the pandas were inside. The place is also largely under construction so it felt like I was doing a lot of walking around and seeing nothing.
Best time to go is in the morning when it opens so you can see the pandas outside before the crazy summer heat begins.
There are plenty of stores and little shops to get food and refreshments and the bathrooms are really well maintained. Definitely coming again in the winter to hopefully see some pandas outside.
To get here you can take the subway and a bus or you can take a taxi from the city, it is quite cheap and only a 20 minute ride.
Entrance costs 55rmb.

China Bucket list: Pandas & babies ticked!!
It has been on my China Bucket list forever to visite Chengdu to see the Pandas. Unfortunate Covid and lockdowns has been the reason why this trip kept being postpone.
But finally this summer, 2022, the stars alined and it all worked out and finally I could travel to Chengdu!
And boy were we lucky, we got to see Giant pandas, red pandas and panda babies!
We got there early just as the parked opened which ment we got to see the pandas eating breakfast and playing with each other before the heat drove them and us indoors.

Panda Panda Panda Panda Panda 🐼
Coming from Africa, where we don’t have Pandas, I was so excited to be visiting the research base. It was going to be my first time seeing a live Panda and I must tell you, it was totally an amazing experience. They are so cute & chubby 🐼 I remember talking to one of the caretakers and she said that Pandas are very interesting animals, very naughty too. I learnt a lot during this trip, and as I was with my family, we had fun together. One person even joked that Pandas are proof that you can eat veggies but still get fat. Pandas eat a lot of bamboo. Their white & black fur is very soft. If you are big on educational trips with free entertainment from the pandas then definitely this is a trip worth taking.
The place gets a lot of people during weekends & holidays so I recommend one goes during the week. It’s always good to pack a bottle of water and some snacks as there is a lot of ground to cover once inside. Due to China’s good transport system, it’s very convenient to get to the location by either mode of transport. Tickets are cheaper if you are student! Hope you have a good trip in Chengdu. #gthatguy1 #chengdu #panda #travel #chinatravel #tourismchina

Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, Chengdu
Entrance fee: 55 yuan/person
This center is located ten kilometers far from Chengdu city, on Futoushan Mountain. It was established in 1987 due to the increasing cases of poaching and the reduction of the area of bamboo forests. Thanks to the creation of the center, the number of pandas, long considered an endangered species, has grown to two thousand.
On the territory of the panda Research Base in Chengdu there are nurseries for different types of pandas, including red ones, aviaries and a museum. Museum visitors can learn about the evolution of pandas, their features, habitats. There are stuffed animals, skeletons, samples of their nutrition.
It's better to come early in the morning, because in the afternoon it becomes really crowded here.

Research Base of Giant Cute Pandas
Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding is not far from the city center and it’s easy to get there by subway 🚇 We visited this place on November so the weather was just great! It took us more than 2 hours to explore every part of this huge area and to take some adorable pictures and videos! 📸
Fresh air, good weather and cute pandas 🐼 A wonderful part of my traveling to Chengdu! Some pandas were sleeping, some were having snacks 🎋🎍
some were just fooling around 🥰 So relaxing to watch them play!
There was also a big museum of pandas.
After wandering around for so long, we decided to have lunch in one of the restaurants of the Research base.
And before heading back to our hotel we bought some Panda souvenirs from the local shop!
Good experience, amazing memories! Worth visiting again ♥️

ADORABLY CHARMING BABY PANDAS
Adorable baby pandas! These are 3 to 4 months old pandas in the Sunshine and Moonlight Kidergarten.🐼🎋 I had to shove my hands in my pockets to stop myself from stealing one. 😍💕
These baby pandas were among the seven young giant pandas born in 2019 that were placed in the shape of the number "70" to offer well wishes for the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
In China's top ten most-visited picturesque places, the Chengdu research facility came in second after the Palace Museum. According to statistics, about 7.5 million people visited the panda base in 2018, and the figure is likely to approach 9 million this year.
🌱 I purchased my ticket through Trip.com and it was such an easy transaction. I just scanned the QR code before entering the park and no need to queue. That gave me a lot of time to enjoy and wander around the park! Thanks Trip! 🙏🏼☺️💕

Giant Pandas, one of the world's rarest creatures and dubbed "living fossils," are not only revered as China's "National Treasure," but also adored by people all over the world. For many years, pandas have been an essential and traditional emblem of peace and harmony in China.
Pandas are commonly associated with the concepts of Ying and Yang because of their color. 🐼🎋💕☺️
