A Well Maintened Park in Chengdu🇨🇳
#timetotravel
This is a beautiful quaint park just right next to Qingyang Palace. When you are visiting the Qingyang Palace, for sure you won't miss this one. It is a pretty well maintained park with lush trees and grass. There is also a teahouse outisde where you can relax and chill while sipping your cup of tea. A very big park but very leisurely at the same time as you see locals do their own thing in the park like plaing mahjong and kids just playing away too. The Sichuan Opera House is just around the corner as well so coming here won't be boring as there are a lot to do and see. Entering this place is free of charge.
Address: 1st Ring Rd West 2 Section, Qingyang District

The lotus flowers in the Cultural Park have bloomed again🪷
Finally went to see the long-awaited lotus flowers.
Every time I come, I have to compete with the elderly for a good spot.
It feels like the lotus flowers are especially beautiful this year.
The teahouse by the lotus pond is also full of people.
The summer breeze carries a faint scent of lotus.
So pleasant.

In the heart of Chengdu city! The lotus ceiling in this park is winning again!
The heat of summer is not yet full, but the spirit of summer is already prevailing.
Without leaving Chengdu, you can enjoy the charming lotus scenery. As soon as you enter the park, you can smell the fresh scent of lotus leaves.
The pond is filled with single-petal, double-petal, blooming, and shy lotuses, red and white, complementing each other and very pleasing to the eye!
This place is really great for taking ancient-style photos! And it's free! Truly wonderful!
Little tips:
① It is recommended to go in the morning when it's not so hot and the lotus flowers are in better condition!
② It is recommended to wear light colors, Hanfu or modern Chinese style, and bring a folding fan and oil-paper umbrella for easy photo shoots~

Nothing is more beautiful than a rainy day
Recently, it's been too hot, and I don't even want to go out, but finally, it rained. It's so cool to go out on a rainy day, and the lotus pond is even more poetic in the rain. I specifically waited for a rainy day to take photos.
There were also a lot of people today, is everyone waiting for the rain?
If it were a sunny day, I would come early in the morning when the flowers are more spirited, but by the afternoon they would be wilted from the sun.
I feel it's only suitable for taking pictures of flowers, not so much for people. However, sitting here drinking tea and playing mahjong is quite nice.

The lotus flowers in Chengdu are in full bloom
The lotus flowers in Chengdu's Cultural Park have blossomed, which may be due to the recent abnormal climate in Chengdu, particularly the heat, prompting the lotus flowers to bloom early. The last two photos were taken yesterday at Hangzhou's Quyuan Fenghe, and it seems that it will take some more time before the lotus flowers can be appreciated.

Chengdu Cultural Park for tea drinking and flower viewing. Compared with other parks, there are many stray cats here, also known as Cat Park.
Chengdu Cultural Park is quite lively because it is connected to Qintai Ancient Path and Qingyang Palace.
Lotus in summer, plum blossom in winter, each season has different scenery.
It's a pity that the once Erxian Temple, now only a mountain gate is left.
However, you can still visit Qingyang Palace, the only Taoist temple in the city, and one of the filming locations for Journey to the West.
The Cultural Park is a comprehensive park mainly for holding various cultural activities. There are various flowers, bonsai, and exotic plants in the park. The annual Chengdu Lantern Festival and Chengdu Flower Festival are famous at home and abroad. There is also a memorial cemetery for the 12 Bridge Martyrs in the park, where you can pay tribute to the revolutionary heroes.
