The Zheng He Cultural Center, located in Malacca, a historic city in Malaysia, is a cultural treasure house that carries the profound historical roots between China and Malaysia, and vividly displays the glorious history and cultural exchange achievements during Zheng He's voyages to the West. The cultural center is located in Chinatown in the center of Malacca. The building's exterior is simple and elegant, integrating traditional Chinese elements with local Malaysian style. The flying eaves and colorful murals complement each other and are extremely visually impactful. The exhibition hall is divided into three floors: the basement floor introduces Zheng He's life and maritime deeds with real objects, models, and Chinese and English materials; the second floor focuses on Zheng He's legacy in Southeast Asia, including the spread of religious culture, navigation instruments, and ancient trade porcelain; the third floor is used for special exhibitions. The museum also displays a large number of Fujian dragon urns, Southeast Asian artworks, and Chinese sailing ship models, vividly reproducing the prosperity of the Maritime Silk Road.
